Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition is provided to promote the migration of melanocytes in skin and hair, to relieve and treat a lesion in hypopigmentary diseases such as vitiligo and grey hair, and to quickly and simply screen the skin vitalizing substance. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting adult melanocyte migration contains chemokine which is selected from a group consisting of CTACK, I-TAC, Lptn, PARC, SDF1, and TARC. The composition is used for treating hypopigmentary diseases. A kit for detecting a skin vitalizing substance contains a chemokine-specific antibody, a secondary antibody, a chromogenic label, and skin cells. The kit is used for detecting the skin vitalizing substance by screening a material which regulates expression of chemokine in skin cells. A method for detecting skin vitalizing substance comprises: a step of treating the skin cells with a candidate material and identifying expression of chemokine; and a step of isolating and purifying a material which reduces expression of chemokine.
