PURPOSE: An external use skin composition containing propanoid derivative is provided to enhance skin anti-aging, moisturizing and anti-inflammation and to treat acne and skin trouble. CONSTITUTION: An external use skin composition contains 0.001-50 wt% of propanoid derivatives substituted with prenyl groups of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient.The derivatives include broxonin A, broxonin B, broxonin C, broxonin D, broxonin E, broxonin F, kasinol C, kasinol D, kasinol F, kasinol G, kasinol J, kasinol K, kasinol L, kasinol M or kasinol N. The derivatives are isolated from Broussonetia kazinokii.

An UV absorber or pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition for antiaging contains the quinoxaline compound, isomer thereof, precursor drug thereof, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or solvate thereof as an active ingredient.

PURPOSE: A composition for preventing hair greying and treating vitiligo is provided to promote melanogenesis and to enhance MITF expression. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing hair greying or treating vitiligo contains 0.001-50 wt% of flavonoid derivative of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. In chemical formula 1, Y1 and Y2 is H, wherein Y1 and Y2 are different or same. The flavonoid derivative is kasinol A, B, E, or H. The flavonoid derivatives activate melanocytes and treat vitiligo.

3,5-Dihydroxy benzamide derivatives are provided to whiten the skin due to a depigmenting activity and improve stability in aqueous solution and organic solvent in formulation by inhibiting structure change. A cosmetic composition for whitening the skin comprises 0.01-20 wt.% of 3,5-dihydroxy benzamide derivatives represented by a formula(1), wherein a hydroxyl group is located in the 2,3-, 2,4-, 2,5-, 3,4- or 3,5-site, and is used in forms of emulsion, cream, cosmetic lotion, essence, pack, gel, powder, makeup base, foundation, lotion, ointment, patch, beauty solution, cleansing foam, cleansing cream, cleansing water, body lotion, body cream, body oil, body essence, shampoo, rinse, body cleanser, soap, hair dye or spray.

Provided are a hydroxybenzoic acid amide compound which suppresses the generation of melanin, its preparation method, and a whitening cosmetic composition containing the compound. The hydroxybenzoic acid amide compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are H or OH. The method comprises the steps of dissolving hydroxybenzoic acid in a solvent, adding a catalyst and a base drop by drop, and reacting it with acetic anhydride to prepare an acetylated compound represented by the formula II; dissolving the acetylated compound of the formula II in a solvent and adding a base, ethyl chloroformate and adamantamine to prepare an amide compound represented by the formula III; and reacting the amine compound of the formula III with a base to hydrolyze it (See the reaction scheme 1), wherein R3 and R4 is H or an acetoxy group.

Provided are a gallic acid adamantamine amide compound which inhibits the generation of melanin, a method for preparing the compound, and a cosmetic composition containing the compound. The gallic acid adamantamine amide compound is represented by the formula 1. The method comprises the steps of dissolving gallic acid in a solvent, adding a catalyst and a base to the solution drop by drop, and reacting it with acetic anhydride to prepare the acetylated compound represented by the formula II (See the reaction scheme 1); dissolving the acetylated compound in a solvent and adding a base, ethyl chloroformate and adamantamine to prepare the amide compound represented by the formula III; and reacting the obtained amide compound with a base to hydrolyze it, thereby preparing the gallic acid adamantamine amide compound represented by the formula 1. Preferably the catalyst is dimethyl aminopyridine; and the base is triethylamine.
