Abstract: PURPOSE: A sustained release therapeutic agent containing biodegradable polymer nanoparitcles for treating intervertebral disc diseases is provided. CONSTITUTION: A sustained release therapeutic agent for intervertebral disc diseases contains polylactic acid nanoparticles. The therapeutic agent further contains fibrin. A method for manufacturing the therapeutic agent comprises: a step of mixing a first solution containing polylactic acid, capsaicin, and organic solvent and a second solution containing PVA(polyvinyl alcohol) and soluble solvent; a step of treating by ultrasonic wave to form an oil-in-water emulsion; and a step of removing the organic solvent from the emulsion.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A proteomics biomarker for detecting phthalate exposure is provided to prevent or treat diseases occurrence by phthalate exposure. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for detecting phthalate exposure contains Cystatin C, Rho-GDIα, Retinol Binding Protein, Gelsolin, DEK, Raf Kinase Inhibitor Protein, Triose Phosphate Inhibitor, Cofilin-1, or Haptoglobi. The phthalate is a compound of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 is independently C6-12 aryl-substituted or non-substituted alkyl of 1-24 carbon atoms or aryl of 6-12 carbon atoms. A protein array for detecting phthalate exposure contains the proteomics biomarker. The proteomics biomarker is isotope, Cy3, Cy5, FITC(poly L-lysine-fluorescein isothiocyanate), RITC(rhodamine-B-isothiocyanate), or rhodamine.

Abstract: A bio-marker protein in plasma is provided to diagnose exposure to formaldehyde and the degree of the exposure effectively. And an agent for diagnosing exposure to formaldehyde comprising an antibody against the same is provided. A bio-marker for diagnosing exposure to formaldehyde comprises a protein of which expression is changed in accordance to the formaldehyde exposure and which is selected from the group consisting of SNAP-23 having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 1, the molecular weight of 22-24kD and the pI of 4.3-5.3; apolipoprotein A-1 having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 2, the molecular weight of 29-31kD and the pI of 5.0-6.0; apolipoprotein E having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 3, the molecular weight of 34-36kD and the pI of 4.7-5.7; clusterin having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 4, the molecular weight of 24-26kD and the pI of 4.4-5.4; Fibrinogen gamma having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 5, the molecular weight of 49-51kD and the pI of 4.9-5.9; and kinesin having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 6, the molecular weight of 29-31kD, and the pI of 4.4-5.4. An agent for diagnosing exposure to formaldehyde comprises an antibody specifically binding to the protein as an effective ingredient.
