Abstract: A method and an apparatus for treating wood treated with pentachlorophenol(PCP) as preservatives are provided to recycle treated wood by removing PCP from PCP treated wood for preservation from decay and insect proofing, reuse the recovered extracted solvent in solvent extraction by recovering an extracted solvent from a PCP extracted solution, and completely treat the PCP treated wood by recrystallizing or solidifying PCP extracted from the PCP treated wood. A method for treating wood treated with pentachlorophenol(PCP) comprises the processes of: (1) crushing the PCP treated wood into the form of chips or sawdust; (2) supplying an extraction solvent into the wood crushed into the form of chips or sawdust in the process(1), and repeatedly performing solvent extraction and centrifugation until concentration of PCP contained in the wood reaches a recycling standard value; and (3) distilling the PCP extracted solution obtained in the process(2) to separate extracted solvent and PCP residues, reusing the separated extracted solvent in the solvent extraction of the process(2), and drying and recrystallizing the PCP residues to recover PCP. The method further comprises the process of removing non-wood from the PCP treated wood using a metal separator between the process(1) and the process(2).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A shaped charge warhead of an explosive reactive armor is provided to make powerless protection of the explosive reactive armor by forming a jet of a warhead after penetrating the reactive armor. CONSTITUTION: A shaped charge warhead includes a contact switch. The contact switch comprises a conical tube(21); a stopper(22) for a contact switch and an electrode terminal(23) for contact switch. The stopper is screwed to the conical tube. The stopper has strong strength. The electrode terminal is for priming of the warhead. The electrode terminal is fixed to the conical tube by being separated electrically with a heat transferring body(25). The electrode terminal is not contacted with the stopper. The shaped charge warhead is screwed to a warhead body(24). Thereby, protection of the reactive armor is powerless because the shaped charge armor penetrates the reactive armor without priming. Penetrating performance of the shaped charge warhead is improved by supplying a passage of a jet with the conical tube.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An equipment for safely processing poisonous fluid is provided to safely absorb the poisonous fluid contained in a canister and to safely collect the canister. CONSTITUTION: A poisonous fluid processing equipment comprises a canister(10); a chamber(20) withdrawing the canister by having a cylinder shape; an inlet port(21) formed on a side of the chamber; an inlet port door(23) opening or closing the inlet port by being formed on the inlet port; a cylinder device(25) elevating the inlet port door by being installed on a side of the inlet port door; an outlet port(31) formed on a side of the inlet port along a circumference of the chamber; an outlet port odor(33) opening the outlet port; a turntable(40) rotationally arranged in the chamber; a canister inlet unit(80) letting the canister in the chamber; a canister withdrawing unit(110) withdrawing the canister form the chamber by being mounted on the outlet port; a penetrating unit(120) forming a through hole(11) on the canister; and a liquid absorbing unit(140) absorbing poisonous material. Moreover, an air-cleaning unit(160) cleans the canister to absorb the poisonous material.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for chemical agent disposal by a 2-step process is provided to treat a chemical agent safely and completely, by converting the chemical agent into a substance harmless to a human being. An apparatus for chemical agent disposal includes: a hydrolysis reactor(10) to hydrolyze or neutralize a chemical agent and to obtain a nontoxic substance; and a super critical water oxidation device to supply process water and oxygen. The super critical water oxidation device is constituted by an oxidation reactor(20), a main body including the oxidation reactor, and a heater inside, a pressure reducing set, a separator(33) to separate a product into a gas substance and a liquid substance; a heat exchanger(34) to cool the product, a filter to remove any particles in the product, and a treated water reservoir(36) to reserve treated water and to recycle it as process water.
