Abstract: 본 발명은 자동차용 에어백 전개를 위한 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 조수석의 에어백 전개 방법에 관한 것으로서, 에어백의 전개 온/오프를 위한 조수석 에어백 컷오프 스위치의 조작 이외에 조수석의 위치를 조절하는 시트 위치조절 스위치의 조작이 이루어져야만 조수석 에어백의 전개 유무가 결정될 수 있도록 한 자동차용 에어백 전개를 위한 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
이를 위해, 본 발명은 에어백 전개 온 또는 오프를 위한 조수석 에어백 컷오프 스위치를 에어백 컨트롤 유니트에 입력 신호로서 연결하는 동시에 조수석용 시트 위치조절 스위치를 에어백 컨트롤 유니트에 입력 신호로서 더 연결하는 단계와; 상기 조수석 에어백 컷오프 스위치를 오프시키면 에어백 컨트롤 유니트의 신호에 따라 조수석 에어백의 전개 작동이 오프되는 단계와; 상기 조수석 에어백 컷오프 스위치를 온시킨 다음, 연속해서 상기 조수석 시트 위치조절 스위치를 조작하는 경우에 상기 에어백 컨트롤 유니트의 신호에 따라 조수석 에어백이 전개 가능한 온 상태로 되는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 전개 제어 방법 및 그 구현 장치를 제공하고자 한 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An unmovement alarming device of an airbag is provided to prevent injury, and to warn nonoperation of the airbag by releasing the backrest of the passenger seat and the driver's seat and initializing the position of the seat in seating a child or a baby on the passenger seat. CONSTITUTION: A nonoperation alarming device of an airbag is composed of a control unit(10) outputting a control signal in deciding a child or a baby seated on a passenger seat, a relay regulating supply of power according to the control signal from the control unit, a checking switch(30) operated by a driver detecting the nonoperation warning signal of the airbag for inputting the checking signal to the control unit, and an electromagnet(40) installed in a fixing lever of a backrest angle adjuster of the passenger seat and operated by power supplied from the relay to release locking of the backrest of the seat.
