    Abstract: The present invention relates to an engine cooling apparatus for a ship and a controlling method thereof. The engine cooling apparatus comprises a sea chest where seawater enters, a bubble removing unit which removes bubbles included in the seawater entering through the sea chest, and a heat exchanger which cools a coolant of an engine for a ship using the seawater from which bubbles are removed by the bubble removing unit. The engine cooling apparatus for a ship and the controlling method thereof can prevent reduction in a heat exchange area due to bubbles contained in the seawater by supplying the seawater to the heat exchanger after removing bubbles from the seawater using the bubble removing unit, and thereby improve heat exchange efficiency.

    Abstract: An apparatus for treating an evaporation gas in a LNG carrier is provided to process a gas evaporated in the LNG carrier in no need of an additional gas burner for treating the evaporation gas, thereby reducing manufacturing cost. An apparatus for treating an evaporation gas in a LNG carrier comprises the following units. A main evaporation gas supply line(L1) supplies the evaporation gas generated in the LNG carrier(1) to a main driving unit(2).
