Abstract: PURPOSE: A microorganism capable of producing a heat-tolerant antimicrobial peptide, derived from Korean salted sea foods is provided, which antimicrobial peptide has a strong antimicrobial activity against various plant or animal pathogenic bacteria. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Bacillus subtilis JKK238 being isolated from Korean salted sea foods is capable of producing a heat-tolerant antimicrobial peptide which has a strong antimicrobial activity to known pathogenic fungi consisting of Pyricularia oryzae, Botrytis cinera, Penicillium sp. Fusarium oxysporum, Collectotrichum cocodes, Phytophthora crytogea and Rhizoctonia solani, and other microorganisms of Streptomyces scabies, Erwinia caractovora and Listeria monocytogenes. The heat-tolerant antimicrobial peptide may be added into feeds, foods or agricultural chemicals to inhibit the growth of the pathogenic fungi and other microorganisms.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a treating agent for reducing odorous gas. The treating agent of the present invention comprises a culture medium of one or more strains selected from Pichia farinosa NAAS-2 (KACC 93160P), which is a novel microorganism that is separated from soil and removes material that causes odorous gas, and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens NAAS-1 (KACC 91751P), which is a novel microorganism that is separated from soil and removes material that causes odorous gas. By means of the present invention, novel strains for removing material that cause odors are separated and identified and the treating agent for reducing odors which includes the strains as active ingredients is provided, so that waste can be easily treated at the site where the waste is generated and essential source material of the odors is removed. The treated material can be recycled in order to be used for the agriculture.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A producing method of oxygen-free fiber fermentation feed for producing high quality meat is provided to improve the efficiency and the uniformity of the feed by fermenting the feed in an oxygen-free state. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of oxygen-free fiber fermentation feed for producing high quality meat comprises the following steps: mixing grains, food byproducts, fibrous raw materials, and a fermentation microorganism; and compressing the mixture, and sealing and vacuum packing the mixture for fermenting the mixture at 20-25 deg C for 5-7 days. The fibrous raw materials are green barley. The fermentation microorganism is yeast. 0.3-0.8wt% of fermentation microorganism is mixed with the mixture. The mixture contains 37-41wt% of moisture.
