Abstract: PURPOSE: An image processing system and an image processing method are provided to correct and superpose images obtained from various image acquisition positions by using an optical path conversion device, thereby capable of reducing moire. CONSTITUTION: An image acquisition apparatus(10) is comprised of a CCD camera for photographing an image. An image display device(40), such as an LCD, displays a check or measurement object as an image. A filter/lens(20) is arranged between the image acquisition apparatus(10) and the image display device(40) and converts the light characteristic of the obtained image. An optical scanner(30) converts a light path displayed at the image display device(40) and then supplies the image acquisition apparatus(10) with the image having the converted light path. A main system(50) produces a processing image removed the moire by using plural images supplied from the image acquisition apparatus(10).

Abstract: A method of inspecting a panel and a system of inspecting the panel are provided to perform objective quality management by automatically operating the inspection system. Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for correcting brightness distortion are provided to meet the size of the completed LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel for checking and correct exactly the brightness distortion. CONSTITUTION: A backlight(14) is a reference light emitting device which is used in order to correct the brightness distortion when checking badness of the LCD panel. A diffusion filter(12) is installed to an upper portion of the backlight(14) and controls the brightness of the backlight(14) uniformly. An image acquisition device(10) obtains image and brightness data of the backlight(14) and the completed checking LCD. A light intensity meter measures the brightness of a diffusion filter surface. An image processing unit(15) stores variation obtained from the brightness data measured by the light intensity meter and image and brightness data of the diffusion filter surface and thereafter applies it to the brightness data of the completed checking LCD, thereby correcting the brightness distortion.
