Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for providing circumferential environment information of a subscriber in a mobile telecommunication system is provided to supply environment information of the corresponding area according to the request of a subscriber and supply environment information of an area where a subscriber is located in real time. CONSTITUTION: Each base station collects circumferential environment information of an area within the corresponding cell(210). Each base station transmits collected circumferential environment information of the area to a base station controller(220). Each base station provides collected circumferential environment information of the area to mobile telecommunication terminals within the corresponding cells(225). The base station controller stores circumferential environment information by base stations at a storage(230) and transmits the received circumferential environment information by base stations to an exchanger(240). The exchanger transmits circumferential environment information by base stations to an information center(250). The information center gathers transmitted circumferential environment information and provides gathered information(260).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for detecting duplexed link states in an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) exchange system is provided to rapidly detect a link error generation and an error recovery to minimize cell losses and system errors caused by link errors in a cell transmission between a duplexed subscriber device and a switch device. CONSTITUTION: If a power of a subscriber device is turned on, an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) exchange system sets up a reference state signal, a link state signal and a count enable signal as initial values. Whenever a reference cell starting signal which displays a cell start from the subscriber device is applied to a switch device, the ATM exchange system adds a value of the link state signal to a value of the reference state signal. Whenever the reference call starting signal is applied, the ATM exchange system compares the value of the link state signal and the value of the reference state signal. If the value of the link state signal is equal to the value of the reference state signal, the ATM exchange system applies a count enable signal to initialize a count value. Whenever a reference pulse is applied, the ATM exchange system increases the count value. The ATM exchange system constantly keeps a link normal signal which displays a current link state until the count value is counted as a set up value. The ATM exchange system decides that a current link is an abnormal link, and switches the current link with another normal link by the link normal signal.

The present invention relates to a memory device including a function for verifying whether security data is rightly stored in an unreadable area, a security data storage verifying system, and a method thereof. The memory device of the present invention includes a memory part storing a security logic receiving a storage verification command including a security data prediction value from an external device, an I/O logic performing a requested task by receiving an output request or input request of user data from the external device, a security area storing the user data and accessed by only the security logic, and a general area storing the user data and accessed through the I/O logic. The security logic reads the security data from the security area in response to the storage verification command and outputs a storage verification result to the external device and does not output the security data to the external device depending on whether the security data is matched with the security data prediction value.

PURPOSE: An authentication system is provided to improve security reliability by disabling the fabrication of an authentication result by external software manipulation. CONSTITUTION: A storage device(200) is connected with a host device(100) through a first interface(310) and stores content. An authentication device(300) is connected to a module composing the storage device and stores copy prevention information about the content. The copy prevention information includes an encoding key related to the encoding of the content. The storage device stores the content encoded by the encoding key. When the encoded content is provided to a host device, the authentication device decodes the encoded content. PURPOSE: A memory device and a memory system are provided to prevent reproduction of content data, thereby improving security reliability of the memory device. CONSTITUTION: A first memory area(10) stores a security key. A second memory area(20) stores content data. A memory security authentication unit(30) accesses the security key stored in the first memory. A memory control unit(40) receives a command from the outside and accesses the content data stored in the second memory area. Access right for the first memory area has only the memory security authentication unit. The memory security authentication unit and the memory control unit area are arranged in a memory device. The security key is used for the encoding of the content data stored in the second memory area.
