PURPOSE: A multiple input multiple output communication method and system thereof are provided to perform precoding based on cooperative rank information. CONSTITUTION: A preferred rank determining unit(710) determines a preference rank about a serving base station. A coordinated rank determining unit(720) determines a cooperative rank about a neighboring base station. A transmitting unit(730) transmits the cooperative rank information to the serving base station.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A code book and a communication device using the same are provided to determine beam forming vectors by using a beam forming codebook in which a transmitter copes with each of the receivers. CONSTITUTION: A memory stores a first channel codebook of a first receiver(220) and a second channel codebook of a second receiver. A codeword included in the first channel codebook is received from the first receiver. A first beam forming vector for the first receiver and a second beam forming vector for the second receiver are determined based on a first code word and a second code word.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A communication system control device for controlling a MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) communication system and a method thereof are provided to effectually generate the transmit signal to a user to maximize the total data transfer rate of a MIMO communication system. CONSTITUTION: A communication system control device(210) is composed of an information collecting unit and a scheduler. The information collecting unit collects the user group information about the candidate user group grouped by a plurality of base stations. The scheduler selects the target user groups corresponding to the base stations among the candidate user groups in consideration of the total data transfer rate which is calculated with the user group information by the base stations. The scheduler schedules about the users included in the target user groups.
Abstract:
A multi Input/output communications method for adaptively producing a code book and using a radio resource for improving the performance of a communication system are provided to improve data transfer rate and reduce quantization error by generating the code book according to autocorrelation matrix of the channel matrix. A channel estimator(521) estimates a channel formed between a base station and a terminal and calculates a channel matrix. A code book generator(522) adaptively produces the code book based on the auto correlation matrix of the channel matrix. The code book generator generates the code book by using previously stored vectors and the auto correlation matrix.

제1 코드북및 제2 코드북을사용하는다중입출력통신시스템이제공된다. 제1 코드북및 제2 코드북은독자적으로존재할수도있고, 서로통합된채로전체코드북의형태로존재할수도있다. 수신기는제1 코드북으로부터제1 PMI를추출하고, 제2 코드북으로부터제2 PMI를추출한다. 물론, 전체코드북으로부터두 개의 PMI들인제1 PMI 및제2 PMI를추출할수도있다. 그제1 PMI 및제2 PMI는송신기로피드백되고, 송신기는제1 PMI 및제2 PMI를기초로프리코딩매트릭스를결정한다.
