    Abstract: PURPOSE: A flush type smart sensor for estimating the strength of concrete by using a guided wave measurement is provided to protect the sensor from external impact when burying the sensor into concrete and to efficiently measure guided wave signals by providing a transmitting passage of guided waves. CONSTITUTION: A flush type smart sensor for estimating the strength of concrete by using a guided wave measurement comprises a body(110), a guided wave transmitting terminal(120), and a guided wave receiving terminal(130). The body is formed in to a plate form of a steel material and comprises a pair of discharging holes, thereby providing a transmitting passage of guided waves. The guided wave transmitting terminal receives frequency signals input from outside, thereby generating guided waves and transmitting the same to a concrete structure. The guided wave receiving terminal receives reflective waves reflected from the concrete structure and transmitted from the body, thereby outputting to outside.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for estimating the initial strength of concrete using impedance are provided to bury a piezoelectric element sensor in the inside of a concrete structure and to evaluate the initial strength by estimating the strength for 20 hours after placing concrete by using a change of the impedance in the piezoelectric element sensor. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for estimating the initial strength of concrete using impedance comprises a piezoelectric element sensor(110), an impedance measuring device(120), and a controller(130). The piezoelectric element sensor is buried in the inside of a concrete structure and generates vibration by receiving frequency signals input from outside and outputs by converting responses by the vibration into voltage signals. The impedance measuring device is connected to the piezoelectric sensor with wires, thereby generating and outputting auxiliary voltage signals to the piezoelectric element sensor per a predetermined time unit and measures an impedance value by receiving the voltage signals being output from the piezoelectric element sensor. The controller substitutes the maximum value of the impedance value measured by the impedance measuring device with an initial strength estimating equation, thereby estimating the initial strength of the concrete structure.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for operating a smart elevator are provided to save energy without hurting the convenience of users and to effectively operate an elevator. CONSTITUTION: A method for operating a smart elevator is as follows. The call of an elevator is received from a user locating in a first floor or a common entrance(S100).
