An apparatus for displaying a function based on pattern recognition is provided. The apparatus for displaying a function according to the present invention includes: a display unit which includes a touch interface to which an input pattern is inputted; and a control unit which predicts a target function of a user, based on at least one of the input pattern and additional information, and displays information on the predicted target function through the display unit.

Provided are a method and apparatus for selectively removing a text information in a video wherein the text information in the video is removed by a user's choice, and can be removed easily in real-time without an additional setting. The method of removing the text information in video comprises the steps of: detecting a text information area in an original image based on an erosion operation and an expansion operation; removing the text information of the detected text information area; and producing a restored video by restoring the text information area where the text information is removed. Therefore, the text information in video can be easily removed in real-time without requiring additional information from the user. PURPOSE: A method for coding and decoding a distributed video capable of modifying a group of pictures and an apparatus for performing the same are provided to achieve high coding efficiency by adaptively changing a GOP(Group of Picture) consisting of a prediction Wyner-Ziv frame and a key frame according to the properties of a video sequence while performing the distributed video coding. CONSTITUTION: A distributed video encoding method performed by a distributed video encoding apparatus includes the steps of: generating a prediction Wyner-Ziv frame and a key frame(S400) from a predetermined frame; obtaining rate-distortion of the prediction Wyner-Ziv frame and rate-distortion of the key frame(S410); comparing the rate-distortion of the prediction Wyner-Ziv frame and the rate-distortion of the key frame(S420); and encoding the current frame into an encoding mode which has the lower rate-distortion between the Wyner-Ziv frame and the key frame(S430). 본 발명에 따른 분산 비디오 부호화 영상의 복호화 장치 및 방법은 부호화 장치로부터 전송 받은 정보 및/또는 복호화 장치에서 생성 또는 복원되는 정보를 이용하여 채널의 특성을 반영하는 복수개의 후보 잡음모델들을 생성한 후, 복수개의 후보 잡음 모델들 중에서 복호화 장치에서 생성 또는 복원되는 정보 및/또는 부호화 장치로부터 전송 받은 정보를 이용하여 채널코드 복호화부에 입력된 소정 채널코딩단위 각각에 적합한 잡음모델을 선택하여, 채널 복호화를 수행한다.이에 따라, 본 발명에 따른 복호화 장치는 주어진 소정 채널코딩단위에 알맞은 잡음모델을 사용함으로써 WZ픽춰를 복원하는데 소요되는 상기 부호화 장치로부터 전송되는 압축데이터 양을 줄여 데이터 압축 성능을 상당히 개선시킬 수 있다.

병렬처리를이용한부호화방법및 이러한방법을사용하는채널부호화장치, 이러한장치를포함하는분산비디오부호화장치및 분산비디오복호화장치가 개시되어있다. 분산비디오코딩에서병렬채널코드부호화를수행하는방법은와이너-지브프레임을기초로병렬연산을수행하기위한병렬처리데이터를생성하는단계와생성된병렬처리메시지를기초로병렬처리채널코드부호화를수행하는단계를포함할수 있다. 따라서, 전송영상의화질을향상시키기위해서높은양자화단계를사용해고비트율로데이터를전송하는경우에도채널코드부호화에소요되는연산량이증가하지않고상대적으로적은복잡도로빠르게부호화를수행할수 있다.

CONSTITUTION: An image encoding device generates a first prediction block by performing first intra prediction(S200). The image encoding device generates a second prediction block(S210). The image encoding device predicts a pixel value of a current block through intra prediction stages.
