Abstract: A transmission according to the present invention, the transmission changes speed between input and output terminals. The transmission comprises N th gear units having a multi-step structure; a cage; a brake member. Each gear unit includes at least one of the sun gear and the ring gear, a plurality of planetary gears. The sun gear is placed at the center of revolution of the planetary gears. The plurality of planetary gears interlocks with the outer surface of the sun gear. The ring gear interlocks with the plurality of planetary gears. The sun gears in the plurality of gear units are coaxially installed and include different shafts. The planetary gears in the plurality of gear units are placed corresponding to each gear unit. The plurality of planetary gears corresponding to each gear unit is integrally formed. The cage supports a rotary shaft of the planetary gear to rotate around the sun gear. The brake member includes the rotary shafts of the sun gear, ring gear, and the cage as the input terminal so when one gear is used as the output terminal, the brake member is capable of changing the speed by one of the other rotary shafts except the input and output terminals.

Abstract: According to the present invention, a transmission performs change of speed between an input terminal and an output terminal. The transmission comprises: N gear terminals arranged in a multi-stage; a cage; and a brake member. Each of the gear terminals includes: at least one of a sun gear and a ring gear; and several planetary gears. The sun gear is disposed at the orbital center of the several planetary gears. The several planetary gears are circumscribed about the sub gear to engage with each other. The ring gear is inscribed about the several planetary gears to engage with each other. Each sun gear included in the gear terminals is disposed on the same axis line to respectively have a separate axis. Each planetary gear included in the gear terminals is disposed to correspond to each other by gear terminals. The planetary gears corresponding to each other by gear terminals are integrated to form a concentric circle. The cage supports the rotation axis of the planetary gear for rotation such that the planetary gear revolves around the sun gear. When using, as an input terminal, one among the rotation axis of the sun gear, the rotation axis of the ring gear, and the rotation axis of the cage and using the other as an output terminal, the brake member performs change of speed by acting on one among other rotation axes except the input terminal and the output terminal.
