Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for aphid control using Beauveria bassiana Bb08 (KACC93163P) culture medium or culture medium filtrate as an active ingredient and a composition for aphid control comprising the steps of: (a) inoculating a spore of Beauveria bassiana Bb08 (KACC93163P) in potato dextrose broth (PDB) to adjust 1x10^6 conidia/ml; (b) culturing the inoculation liquid for three to five days at 25°C; and (c) filtrating impurities in the culture obtained in step (b) by using a paper filter. For Beauveria bassiana Bb08 (KACC93163P), a composition for aphid control using the fungus, and a method for preparing same according to the present invention, Beauveria bassiana Bb08 (KACC93163P) is an endemic microorganism thereby rapidly adapting to a domestic condition and exhibiting a rapid insecticidal effect. Thus, the present invention has excellent use as a biotic pesticide for aphid control. Also, as an environmental friendly and stable control mean, the present invention is useful in increment of economic value of greenhouse crops, increment of safe agricultural products production and activation of industry of developing pesticide to microorganism.

PURPOSE: A dispenser apparatus is provided to influence a little the activity of the insect vectors and have excellent transfer efficiency, thereby improving the effects of pest control. CONSTITUTION: A dispenser apparatus comprises a connection channel, an outer container with an inlet and outlet, and a blocking container. One end of a channel is connected to the outlet of an insect vector container and the other end is horizontally formed between the outlet of the insect vector container and the blocking container. A partition wall is horizontally formed towards the outlet of an external container, in the blocking container. The external container accommodates the blocking container and the outlet is connected to the connection channel.

PURPOSE: A microorganism Verticillium lecanii CS626 and a method for the control of harmful insects using the same microorganism are provided, thereby effectively preventing the growth of the harmful insects living in agricultural equipments. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Verticillium lecanii CS626(KFCC-11277) has an improved insecticidal effect on the harmful insects living in agricultural equipments, wherein it is isolated by collecting a mycelium from the surface of an insect infected by Verticillium lecanni; inoculating the mycelium on a potato agar medium containing tetracycline; culturing it at 22 to 28 deg. C; isolating spores and mycelia from the cultured medium; suspending the isolated spores in 0.01% tween 80 solution; spraying the suspension on a leaf containing insects; and selecting a microorganism showing excellent insecticidal activity.
