    Abstract: PURPOSE: A Panax species plant extract having the increased content of ginsenoside Rg5 and Rk1 by microwave irradiation, a manufacturing method thereof, and a composition containing the processed Panax species plant extract are provided to enhance an effect of Rg5 and Rk1 compared to an extract by simple thermal-processing.
