CONSTITUTION: A junction glass has a low fusion point and is used for fixing a magnetic head at a temperature under 450 °C. An MIG(Metal-In-Gap) type magnetic head core is coupled to a gap of a top shield that is composed of ferrite and CaTiO3, wherein a metal magnetic thin film is formed in a gap of a pair of ferrite cores and a gap junction glass is used for coupling the gap to form the magnetic head core by mutually coupling the ferrite cores.
