Abstract:
A truncated adaptive transmission method suitable for a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access)/FDM(Frequency Division Multiplexing) method in a forward link is provided to realize better performance than an FH(Frequency Hopping)-DS(Direct Sequence) even when either an orthogonal signature sequence or a probability signature sequence is used by increasing desired signal strength while restraining interference of a different cell base station in case of several cells. A complex low band pass response of the mth sub-channel between the jth cell base station and a reference user, the first user of the 0th cell is expressed by a certain equation. In a forward link under the environment of several cells, a sub-channel gain is obtained by multiplying a path loss and frequency Rayleigh attenuation together. The attenuation gains of each sub-channel are independent but the path loss of each sub-channel is the same.

A weak signal detection device used in a moving average model of impulsive noise is provided to have the almost same performance as that of an ML weak signal detection device while a structure of a suboptimum ML weak signal detection device is simpler than that of the ML weak signal detection device. A weak signal detection device has a determined region of a certain equation in a moving average model of impulse noise. The weak signal detection device is a suboptimum ML(Maximum Likelihood) weak signal detection device.

이 발명은 새로운 수렴 탐지기를 사용한 블라인드 등화 기법에 관한 것이다. 이 발명에서 제안한 기법은 두 방식 고친 일정 계수 알고리듬과 결정지향 알고리듬의 특성을 한꺼번에 살려 초기 수렴속도가 빠르고, 수렴뒤 나머지 오차가 작다. 이 기법에서는 수렴 시기를 찾아내어 두 방식 고친 일정 계수 알고리듬에서 결정지향 알고리듬으로 넘어가고자 수렴 탐지기를 쓴다. 이 기법을 쓰면, 이제까지의 알고리듬과 견주어 더 나은 성능을 보인다. 두 방식 고친 일정 계수 알고리듬, 결정지향 알고리듬, 수렴 탐지기.

PURPOSE: A space informing system using a GPS(Global Positioning System) for a mobile phone and a method therefor are provided to add a space unit informing function, which is operated by only a time unit, to an informing system of the mobile phone by geographic information on space. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of GPSSs(GPS Satellites) successively transmit navigation message signals necessary for calculating position to a mobile phone(10) through a carrier. A base station including an ES(Earth Station), a WMS(Wide area Master Station), and a WRS(Wide area Reference Station) receives signals from the GPSSs, calculates and corrects a position with respect to a reference point, and transmits calculated position information to a GS(Geosynchronous Satellite). The GS transmits correction position error information about the base station to the mobile phone(10). The mobile phone(10) calculates the signals received from the GPSSs to obtain its current position information, re-corrects its current position information with reference to correction position error information to obtain accurate its current position information, and performs a corresponding operation when the obtained position is within a radius of a specific point.

The present invention relates to a multicarrier direct sequence code division multiple access (DS/CDMA) system using a turbo code with nonuniform repetition coding. In particular, it relates to a multicarrier DS/CDMA system using a turbo code with unequal diversity order in its code symbols instead of using a convolutional code.

PURPOSE: A method for obtaining a rapid signature sequence based on a code and rank statistics is provided to obtain a test statistic of new detector using an approximate method, enhance detecting performance by deciding a threshold value, and removing a time for an interference variance estimation, thereby reducing an average pseudo noise code obtaining time. CONSTITUTION: New type detector necessary for obtaining a pseudo noise code in a direct sequence band diffusion system is suggested. A method for obtaining a rapid signature sequence based on a code and rank statistics is suggested for inducing a test statistic of a local optimum rank detector and obtaining a test statistic of a local sub optimization rank detector and a deformation code rank detector using an asymptotic approximation. After obtaining a test statistic of new detector using an approximation based on a code and a rank, a threshold value is decided, and a detecting performance is increased and a time necessary for interference variance estimation is removed. Thus, an average pseudo noise code obtaining time is reduced.
