Abstract: A guardrail device is provided to absorb shock using a projecting bar formed on the upper part of a body when a large vehicle collides with a guardrail, to absorb the shock using an oval groove formed on the lower part in case of the collision of a small vehicle, and to reduce the maintenance cost by minimizing the deformation of a guardrail although a vehicle collides with a guardrail. A guardrail device comprises many posts(1) installed in a median strip or a road shoulder of an expressway at regular intervals, a block-out member composed of three walls opened at the upper, lower parts and one side to surround and fix the posts and provided with a projecting bar(3) for decreasing the shock caused by a collision with a large vehicle on the upper part of the intermediate wall, and a bolt hole for fixing a post on the inner wall, and a guardrail member(7) provided with a shock absorbing surface to prevent the separation of a vehicle.

Abstract: A block out for a road guide rail is provided to prevent a vehicle from being escaped from a road by attenuating collision force when the vehicle collides with a guide rail plate. A block out for a road guide rail comprises a body section(110) having a height equal to that of a guide rail plate and including left and right support sections(111a,111b) bent about a connection section(112). Left and right reinforcing sections(120a,120b) are bent outwardly from each upper ends of the left and right support sections(111a,111b) to reinforce bending strength of the two ends. Left and right coupling sections(130a,130b) are bent outwardly from each front ends of the left and right support sections(111a,111b) to be coupled to the rear surface of the guide rail plate by using a bolt and a nut. Left and right locking protrusions(140a,140b) are bent forwardly from the upper ends of the coupling sections(130a,130b).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle impact absorbing apparatus is provided, which is installed on the front of facilities on the road to absorb the impact of a car clash, thereby preventing the damage of a vehicle and facilities and a loss of lives. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle impact absorbing apparatus (10) installed on a concrete barrier of the starting point of a median strip, the turning point of a highway, the beginning of a tunnel, the starting point of a bridge or a fixture such as a H-beam comprises; a front rubber plate (20), which is semicircular and is made up of impact absorbent materials, on the front of a vehicle impact absorbing apparatus (10); a primary and a secondary monomer rubber plate (30)(30') having an impact diminution effect with impact absorbent materials on the rear of a front rubber plate (20); a wavy steel plate (70), which restrains the repulsive force of a primary and a secondary monomer rubber plate (30)(30') contracted by a vehicle impact, on the inside of a primary and a secondary monomer rubber plate (30)(30'); a reinforcing rib (40) formed by installing a steel plate (51) at regular intervals among a front rubber plate (20) and a primary and a secondary monomer rubber plate (30)(30'); an impact absorbent element (80) between a front rubber plate (20) and each wavy steel plate (70).
