    Abstract: PURPOSE: A synchronizing method for a generation system including a winding type induction generator is provided to prevent an individual synchronization angle reset process by automatically synchronizing a stator voltage vector with a system voltage vector regardless of the size of a system voltage. CONSTITUTION: A Harr wavelet function with 2 level and a voltage signal with a noise are successively convoluted. The voltage signal is divided into three frequency components. A signal is rectified by applying a threshold and is restored. A new voltage signal without the noise is varied at a small slope range.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A power converting apparatus of a synchronous generator is provided to ensure a harmonic current property by constituting a 2-level converter and a 3-level NPC converter concurrently. CONSTITUTION: A generator side converter(10) is made of a 2-level converter. One converter(20a) among system side converters is made of a multi-level NPC converter. Th multi-level NPC converter is a 3-level NPC converter whose output is controlled according to a voltage command value of a controller. A rest system side converter(20) is composed of a 2-level converter. A controller controls compensation of the harmonic current induced from each system side converter into the system side.
