Abstract: A system and a method for processing a home network error based on inference are provided to allow a user to accurately and conveniently process an error by properly providing inferred results to each error processing procedure. A service error recognizing module(123) recognizes an error generated from a service of a home network system, and collects the error information. A home network error recognizing module(124) recognizes an error generated from networks of the home network system, and collects the error information. A device error recognizing module(125) recognizes an error generated from a device of the home network system, and collects the error information. An error processing management module(122) infers an error type and an error processing rule to solve the error, provides the inference results to a user, and performs an error processing rule selected by the user.
