본발명은 ESPAR 안테나를사용하여다중레벨신호를동시에전송할수 있는빔공간-MIMO(BS-MIMO) 시스템에관한것으로서, 기존의 BS-MIMO 시스템에서는전송할수 없었던다중레벨신호를동시에전송할수 있어다양한이동통신시스템에사용할수 있으며, 단일 RF 체인을이용하므로기존의안테나어레이를이용하는 MIMO 시스템보다복잡도를줄이고전력소모를감소시킬수 있다.

초저전력 및 초고주파 특성에 적합한 초고주파 송수신 장치에 관한 기술이 개시된다. 초고주파 송신 장치는 발진 신호를 제공하는 전압 제어 발진기 및 발진 신호를 정수배로 체배하여 캐리어 신호를 생성하고, 캐리어 신호와 기저대역 신호를 혼합하여 혼합 신호를 생성하며, 혼합 신호의 전력을 증폭시키는 전력 증폭기를 포함한다.

본 발명은 신호의 크기 성분과 위상 성분을 분리하여 처리한 후 재결합하여 송신하는 장치에서 크기 성분과 위상 성분 간에 발생하는 시간차를 보정하는 방법을 제공한다. 이를 위해, 본 발명의 크기 성분과 위상 성분 간의 시간차를 보정하는 방법은 디지털 신호 처리 동작과 아날로그 신호 처리 동작에서 크기 성분과 위상 성분 중 적어도 하나에 시간 지연을 적용하여 시간차를 보정하거나, 전처리기를 구비하여 크기 성분 또는 위상 성분에 시간 지연을 적용하여 시간차를 보정한다.

Disclosed are a delta-sigma modulator and a transmitter including the same. The delta-sigma modulator included in a transmitter includes a first integrator to integrate an input signal and a first feedback signal; a second integrator to integrate an output signal of the first integrator and a second feedback signal; a first comparator and a second comparator to compare an output of the second integrator with a reference signal for outputting a first comparison signal and a second comparison signal, respectively; a first DAC and a second DAC to generate a first signal and a second signal corresponding to the first comparison signal and the second comparison signal, respectively; a delay unit to generate delay signals obtained by delaying the first comparison signal and the second comparison signal by a preset time; and an output DAC to generate an output signal at a multi-voltage level corresponding to the delay signals. Accordingly, the performance and efficiency of the transmitter can be improved. A time constant calibration apparatus of a low pass delta sigma modulation apparatus calibrates a time constant of an integrator using a resistor and a capacitor, and the time constant calibration apparatus generates a reference voltage by flowing a reference current to a reference resistor, converts the reference voltage to a digital signal, and varies a value of the resistor of the integrator and a value of the capacitor from the digital signal. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A resonator for responding a high speed signal is provided to obtain high gains by forming active feedback load. CONSTITUTION: A first transconductor(101) changes a voltage signal into a current signal. An LC(Resonant Circuit) tank(103) extracts only a desired frequency signal from signals outputted from the first transconductor. A second transconductor(102) increases a quality factor of the signals outputted from the LC tank. The first transconductor includes transistors changing the voltage signal into the current signal, transistors for linearity maintenance, and transistor consisting of a current source. The transistors are composed of an N-channel MOS(Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) field effect transistor.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A signal conversion apparatus, differential signal conversion apparatus, and frequency conversion method are provided to eliminate noise by applying coupling signals to an input end of a frequency conversion unit. CONSTITUTION: A frequency converting unit(430) converts a high-frequency signal received by an input end to the output signal of down frequency by responding to an LO(Local Oscillation) frequency signals. A noise elimination unit(410) is connected to the input end of the frequency conversion unit. The noise elimination unit controls the band of the high frequency signal. The noise elimination unit eliminates the capacitance of a parasitic capacitor in the input end.
