Abstract: PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent device having a double insulating layer is provided to enhance the luminescence and the durability by using the electrical characteristic between a luminous layer and an electrode by inserting a double insulating layer between the luminous layer and the electrode. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent device comprises an anode(12) for injecting the hole into the substrate(11), an organic luminous layer(15) for emitting light in response to the recombination of injected holes and injected electrons, a cathode(19) for injecting an electron, the first insulating layer(14) placed between the organic luminous layer and the anode, and the second insulating layer(17) for performing the electron blocking. The first insulating layer prevents the electrons from flowing organic luminous layer, which increases the electroluminescent efficiency. The second insulating layer increases the recombination probability.

Abstract: A protocol conversion method for offering the video on demand service and an apparatus therefor are provided to make the video on demand service controlling process clearly by removing the duplication factors which may be generated when using two protocols. A user terminal(110) receives various parameters corresponding to the VOD service request of a user from a VOD portal server(120), and then prepares/transmits an RTSP DESCRIBE command based on the received parameters to the first protocol conversion unit(112). The first protocol conversion unit converts the received RTSP DESCRIBE command into an SIP INVITE command and then transmits the converted result to an IMS(140). A VOD application server(130) confirms the right of the user, requests a contents transfer control unit(160) to select a proper VOD streaming server according to the location of the user terminal and contents, and then receives the selection result. The VOD application server changes the receiver of the SIP INVITE command so as to designate contents which a VOD streaming server(170) selected by the contents transfer control unit has, and then transmits the changed result to the IMS.

Abstract: A PON(Passive Optical Network) system for increasing the number of optical network units is provided to simultaneously connect a lot of ONUs(Optical Network Units) to one PON by using optical amplifiers, thereby lowering a service cost as reducing a management cost of the network. The first coupler(310) transmits downstream signals sent to ONUs from an OLT(Optical Line Terminal), through the first path, and transmits upstream signals sent to the OLT from the ONUs, through the second path. The second coupler(320) consists of one end individually connected to each end of the first and second paths of the first coupler(310), and the other end for individually transmitting the upstream and downstream signals through one path. A downstream optical amplifier(340) is located on the first path, and compensates loss of the downstream signals. An upstream optical amplifier(330) is located on the second path, and compensates loss of the upstream signals.
