Abstract: A signaling method for a VoIP service in an IMS(IP Multimedia Core Network Subsystem)-based WiBro network is provided to provide a quality-guaranteed VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) service as well as a data service by implementing an all IP concept network at an early stage by introducing an IMS to a control port of a core network. A transmission terminal of a Wibro network transmits a VoIP service request message(INVITE) including a URI(Uniform Resource Identifier) of a reception terminal to an S-CSCF of an IMS interworking with the WiBro network. The S-CSCF performs service authentication on the transmission terminal and checks an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) address of the reception terminal with respect to the URI. The S-CSCF transmits the service request message to the reception terminal by using the SIP address. A response message of the reception terminal is transmitted to the transmission terminal through the S-CSCF.
