Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving a BLDC motor is provided to offer a BLDC motor that does not require an expensive hall sensor and a complex sensor circuit. Abstract: PURPOSE: A power supply module for a hall sensorless brushless direct current motor is provided to arrange a high voltage/high current power device, a power device driving circuit, and a motor driving circuit on the same substrate using CMOS(Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) integration, thereby improving functional and integration properties. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage/high current power device(310) operates a hall sensorless brushless direct current(BLDC) motor(400). A motor driving circuit(320) creates a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) control signal for controlling the hall sensorless BLDC motor. The motor driving circuit comprises a position signal detection/control unit(321), a timing generator(323), and a PWM controller(324). A power device driving circuit(330) operates the high voltage/high current power device according to the PWM control signal of the motor driving circuit.
