PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus routing for wireless network are provided to effectively use entire network resources in case of an emergency by addressing the problem of traffic distribution in a destination node and a middle route as well. CONSTITUTION: An existence of a unicast address corresponding to an anycast address is tested(100). In case there is no a unicast address, a routing request signal is transmitted, through an address mapping table, to the destination node group(102). If the destination node is determined, a routing response signal is transmitted into the source node(104). An apparatus and a method for improving traffic processing performance and traffic security in consideration of QoS in a bi-directional satellite connection system are provided to prevent degradation of TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) performance caused by a long transmission delay time and request a central station to allocate resources of a return link correspondingly to a service by classifying traffic according to each service. An SMT(Satellite Mobile Terminal) performance improving proxy server(126) receives an IP(Internet Protocol) packet from a user terminal(128) and stores it, transfers a reception response signal with respect to the stored IP packet by executing as proxy for a central station(10), re-transmits an IP packet for which reception response signal has not been received in response to a re-transmission request from the central station(10), and inserts traffic type information previously stored in a TCP header into an IP header of the stored IP packet before the stored IP packet is encoded.
