    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing concrete is provided to improve a quality of the concrete when hardening at room temperature by replacing a binder from cement to a binding material consisting fly ash, sodium silicate and NaOH. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing concrete using fly ash comprises the step of mixing and stirring a binding material, an activation reagent, fine aggregate, heavy aggregate, water, and high range water reducing agent before curing the mixture to make concrete. The binding material is composed with fly ash with a degree of particle size of 5,000~10,000 square centimeters per gram. The activation reagent contains 6~15 mole of NaOH and sodium silicate in a weight ratio of 0.75:1.25~1.25:0.75. A step of hardening the mixture is performed at 5~40 deg C.

    Abstract: The bioactive organic fertilizer is produced by (a) inoculating a microorganism producing a bioactive material medium of a waste or a by-product from agriculture, stockfarming, fishery, food and fermentation, and (b) fermenting the inculated material under the supply of oxygens to produce and extract a bioactive material. The waste or the by-product of agriculture is pref. rice bran, rice straw, corn husk, corn powder, corn leaf, corn stalk, bean chaff, wheat bran, etc. The bioactive organic soil is produced by inoculating the microorganism with an organic-rich soil.

    Abstract: Biologically pure cultures of Bacillus subtilis sub sp. Krictiensis (ATCC 55079) and of its mutant M18-91 (ATCC 55078) are new. The new microorganisms produce the antifungal complex KRF-001 (disclosed as new but not claimed) which is useful as an agricultural or therapeutic fungicide, food presevative or skin moisturiser. It has a broad spectrum of activity and low toxicity.
