    Abstract: PURPOSE: A white emission controller of a diesel engine and a method thereof are provided to secure the durability and the reliability of exhaust components and to offer the productivity and the stability by automatically turning off the starting of an engine through a fuel isolation control when a diesel vehicle is idled for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A long idle status of a vehicle is checked by status information to be detected during a starting. In deciding as the long idle status, the starting of an engine is turned off through the isolation of fuel. In passing certain time after the starting of the engine, an ignition-on contact is switched to an off contact. Thereby, the corrosion of components in an exhaust device is prevented by eliminating a generation of white emission previously.

    Abstract: An injection timing determining method in a diesel car is provided to use an engine and car development system without change by satisfying EOBD(Europe On Board Diagnosis) regulation criteria and being selectively used according to the malfunction of a part related to an EGR. An injection timing determining method in a diesel car comprises: a first step(S201) detecting the malfunction of a part related to an EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation); a second step(S207) applying the first normal injection timing map and deciding the injection timing in case the part related to the EGR does not break down; and a third step(S203) deciding the injection timing by applying second injection timing map to delay the injection timing compared to steady-state in case the malfunction of the part related to the EGR is detected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic tar removing system and an automatic tar discharging method are provided to achieve improved operating reliability of LPG vehicle by allowing for smooth operation of vaporizer and preventing failure of engine start. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tar removing system comprises an actuator(5) for opening/shutting a drain valve(3) by a diaphragm arranged in a housing; a vacuum tank(12) for permitting the actuator to open the drain valve by applying a negative pressure to a diaphragm operating chamber of the actuator; a solenoid valve(15) for opening/shutting the vacuum tank; a tar load sensor(17) for measuring lead of the tar being applied to the drain valve; and an electronic control unit(16) for controlling the solenoid valve to be open for a predetermined time period if the load of tar detected by the tar load sensor is higher than a predetermined level and an engine turn-off is checked.
