    Abstract: PURPOSE: Upper-coupling structure of a suspension for a vehicle is provided to improve the absorbing and buffing performance to vertical load and improve riding comfort and drivability by attaching a strut plate having shock-absorbing function to a body of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Upper-coupling structure of a suspension for a vehicle comprises a piston rod(101) of a shock absorber in which the upper end portion of a coil spring(111) is secured through an upper spring pad(110) supported by a bumper rubber(112); an insulator comprised of a damper rubber attached to a mounting plate(106) coupled to a vehicle body(103) to the upper part of the piston; and a bearing(150) fitted into the outer peripheral surface of the piston rod, to absorb the turning moment(M,M') produced in case of bump, rebound, and steering of the vehicle, to the lower part of the insulator. One end of the mounting plate is fixed to the vehicle body through a bolt(104) and the other end is fixed, with spaces, by a supplementary shock-absorbing member attached to the vehicle body to absorb and buff the external force. Accordingly, the double-fixed portions improve riding comfort and drivability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A spare tire fixing device for a vehicle is provided to replace a spare tire conveniently by installing or separating the spare tire quickly and easily with touching once. CONSTITUTION: A tire installation bar(20) is formed at the side of a vehicle body, and a spare tire is placed on the tire installation bar. A clamp(30) combines the spare tire with the tire installation bar by penetrating a central hub of a spare tire wheel. A containing groove(21) is formed in the tire installation bar to store the clamp, and a fitting sill(22) is expanded elastically with external force around the inlet of the containing groove. The clamp comprises a body(31) inserted to the tire installation bar, a head part(36) pressing the spare tire, a locker(32) fitted to the fitting sill, an expansion unit releasing the locker from the fitting sill by expanding the fitting sill, and an operating unit actuating the expansion unit.
