Abstract: PURPOSE: Assembly for an oil seal is provided to maintain sealing function of a seal member by compensating rotational direction of a shaft with resilient force of an elastic member and to improve sealing effect. CONSTITUTION: Assembly in an oil seal comprises a housing(2) filling oil; a through hole(4) formed on the housing; a shaft(6) rotated by being inserted to the through hole; a runner(8) fixed on an outer circumference of the shaft; a carbon seal(10) connected to a side of the runner; a case(12) fixed on an inner circumference of the through hole in the housing; an elastic member(14) applying resilient force by being connected between the case and the carbon seal; and a seal member(16) sealing installed on a side of the carbon seal and the case. The runner is formed as a cylinder shape to be inserted to the outer circumference of the shaft. Moreover, an inner side of the runner is inserted to the shaft to seal. 윤활부재(14)는 윤활성능과 미끄럼율이 우수한 불소수지(PTFE)를 이용하여 이루어진다. 윤활부재(14)는 삽입홈(12)에 스프링(16)을 통하여 설치하는 것이 클러치축(10)이 회전할 때에 발생하는 원심력의 크기에 따라 윤활이 이루어지므로 효율적이다. 또 윤활부재(14)를 윤활유의 함습성이 우수한 재질로 형성하면 클러치 축(10)의 원심력 크기에 따라 공급되는 윤활유의 양이 다르므로 효율적인 윤활이 이루어진다.
