Abstract: PURPOSE: A gasoline direct-injection engine is provided to easily control the volume ratios of an intake valve and an exhaust valve based on a spark plug by making the height difference between a first cavity and a second cavity. CONSTITUTION: A gasoline direct-injection engine comprises a first cavity(501), a protrusion unit(510) and a second cavity(502). The first cavity is formed on the piston head of a piston. The first cavity returns some of fuel sprayed from an injector(300) to the spark plug. The protrusion unit is offset from the first cavity to an exhaust valve(201). The second cavity has a lower height than the first cavity from the protrusion to the exhaust valve. The first cavity is formed in a circle or ellipse shape. The first cavity is offset from the direct lower part of an ignition plug(400) to the intake valve by a given distance.

Abstract: A cooling jet structure for preventing interference of a piston of a vehicle is provided to facilitate a layout by ensuring a sufficient gap between a piston skirt section and a con-rod. A cooling jet structure for preventing interference of a piston of a vehicle comprises an oil supply pipe, a body section(10), a block coupling section(20) and an oil discharge pipe(30). The body section is provided with an oil opening and closing valve. The body section is coupled with the block coupling section through an additional connection plate(40). The block coupling section is coupled with a cylinder block. The oil discharge pipe is installed at the body section such that the oil discharge pipe is positioned below a piston skirt section at a dead point of a piston. The oil discharge pipe is positioned below the piston skirt section, so that the shape of the oil discharge pipe is simplified.

Abstract: A coupling structure of an engine and an automatic transmission in a vehicle is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by simplifying design conditions of a drive plate and securing durability of the drive plate. A coupling structure of an engine and an automatic transmission in a vehicle is used for connecting a crankshaft of the engine with a torque converter(20) of the automatic transmission. A vertical long hole(15) is formed in a drive plate(10). A flange-integrated stud(25) is formed at the torque converter in order to be combined with the vertical long hole of the drive plate. The length of the stud is determined according to a movement toward an axial direction in order not to penetrate the vertical long hole of the drive plate.

Abstract: An oil supply structure of a piston pin bore is provided to supply oil to the inner and outer sides of a piston pin boss from an oil gallery embedded in the piston by improving the oil supply hole structure of a pin bore. An oil supply structure is formed in a pin bore(12) of a piston. A first oil supply hole(18) and a second oil supply hole are formed on the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of a pin boss to simultaneously supply the oil to the inner side and to the outer side of the pin boss into which the pin bore is inserted. The first oil supply hole is communicated with an oiling groove(26) of the piston by a first passage formed in the piston. A concave chamber facing the inner surface of the pin bore is formed at an outlet position of the first oil supply hole.
