    Abstract: 본 발명은 자동차의 범퍼 구조에 관한 것으로, 차체의 좌우 방향으로 길게 형성된 범퍼커버의 내측으로 에너지업소버와 범퍼백빔이 설치되는 자동차의 범퍼 구조에 있어서, 상기 에너지업소버(20)의 양측 끝단은 상기 범퍼백빔(30)의 양측 끝단에 비하여 차체의 중앙 쪽으로 위치되고, 상기 범퍼백빔(30)의 범퍼커버(10)측 표면에 상기 에너지업소버(20)의 끝단에서 범퍼백빔(30)의 끝단까지 연속되고 상기 범퍼커버(10)의 내측 표면과 소정거리 떨어져 평행하게 배치되는 리인포스먼트 브래킷(32)이 설치되며, 이에 의하면 저속 충돌에 의한 범퍼커버의 손상이 방지된다.

    Abstract: A structure for a bumper beam is provided to absorb shock at a collision, and to minimize damage and deformation of a vehicle body by installing a reinforcing member in a beam and forming a closed section of a stay. A bumper beam structure for absorbing shock at a collision is composed of a beam(10) installed horizontally to a vehicle and stays(40) mounted at both sides of the beam to absorb impact transmitted to a vehicle body. The beam is composed of a front side(11), and upper and lower parts(12,13) extended inward from the front side. A staple shaped reinforcing member(30) is composed of a protruded part(31) projected forward and upper and lower reinforcing parts(32,33) extended inward and combined with the upper and lower parts of the beam. The stay is formed of a hexahedron opened backward, and composed of a front stay side(41) attached to a rear part and upper, lower, left and right stay sides(42,43,44,45) integrally formed with the front stay side to form a closed section.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rear bumper is provided to absorb a shock uniformly, to stabilize a shock absorbing effect, and to prevent a rise in repair cost by preventing an absorber from being rotated upon a rear-end collision. CONSTITUTION: A rear bumper comprises a bumper cover(20), a bumper beam(30), absorbers(50), and a reinforcement(100). The bumper cover(20) is fixedly installed on a back panel(10) of an automobile at both sides thereof. An oblique portion(21) is formed in the bumper cover(20). A license plate is mounted on the outside surface of the oblique portion(21) at a predetermined angle. The absorber(50) is sandwiched between the upper and lower surfaces of the bumper beam(30) and the upper and lower inside surfaces of the bumper cover(20) excepting the oblique portion(21) of the bumper cover(20) in order to absorb shock. The reinforcement(100) is sandwiched between the upper outside surface of the bumper cover(30) and the inside surface of the absorber(50) in order to prevent the absorber(50) from being rotated upon receiving shock.
