    Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle bumper is provided to protect passengers of vehicle from being damaged by sufficiently absorbing impact energy when external impact is eccentrically applied to an upper or a lower portion of the vehicle bumper. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle bumper includes left/right side members(10,20), a bumper cover(30), and upper/lower beams(40,50). The left/right side members(10,20) are positioned parallel along both sides of a vehicle chassis. The bumper cover(30) is positioned at the front of the left/right side members(10,20). The upper beam(40) is positioned between the bumper cover(30) and the left/right side members(10,20). One end of the upper beam(40) is positioned at an inner side of the bumper cover(30) and the other end of the upper beam(40) is fixed to the left/right side members(10,20) by means of brackets(41). The lower beam(50) crosses the upper beam(40), and the center of the lower beam(50) is connected to the upper beam(40) with a pin(51).
