Abstract: A trailing arm supporting apparatus for a coupled torsion beam axle and a control method thereof are provided to reduce impact delivered to a car body by damping impact, delivered through the trailing arm, with a resilient disc and a hydraulic cylinder piston of the trailing arm bush bracket. A trailing arm supporting apparatus for a coupled torsion beam axle comprises: a trailing arm bush support bracket; a pair of trailing arm bush supporting plates(32) formed on one side of a resilient disc(31); a hydraulic cylinder(40) fixed to the car body(20); a piston(41) of a hydraulic cylinder connected to the other side of the resilient disc of the trailing arm bush support bracket; and a control valve(50) set up at the hydraulic cylinder. A recess space part(21) is provided in order to mount the hydraulic cylinder to the car body.
