    Abstract: PURPOSE: A booster of a vehicle is provided to improve braking force by transmitting pedal efforts from an input rod through an output rod to a master cylinder directly with enlarging the contact area between a reaction disk and a plunger. CONSTITUTION: A servo valve of a booster for a vehicle is installed between a vacuum chamber(2a) and an atmospheric chamber(1a) in housings(1,2), and a vacuum connecting port applying vacuum by negative pressure of an engine is installed in the housing. The servo valve is composed of an input rod(4) transmitting pedal effort, a power piston(5) boosting by surrounding the input rod, a plunger(6) installed in the end of the power piston and moved by the input rod, and an output rod(7) placing a reaction disk(8) with the staple-shaped section and transmitting output to a master cylinder. A wedge contact end(6a) is formed in the end of the plunger, and the plunger is contacted to the reaction disk. Constant braking force is generated, and braking performance is improved with covering the contact end of the plunger by the reaction disk according to pedal effort.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise-reducing brake calipers for a vehicle is provided to prevent rattle noise followed by assembly tolerance of each part of calipers, with elastic force of a spring. CONSTITUTION: A noise-reducing brake calipers for a vehicle comprises a housing(1) forming a space to position a disk to the middle part; a mounting bracket(2) mounting the housing on a wheel unit, by a guide pin; a piston(4) moving by hydraulic pressure; and a shoe(5) contacting a pad(6) with a disk by the piston and stopping the pad. An elastic member(10), continuously pressurizing the shoe part by elastic force, being secured to the housing, is installed to the gap between the shoe and the housing. The gap between the housing and the pad is shut off by the elastic force of the spring and movement caused by transmission of external force is shut off. Thus, rattle noise, generated while each part is colliding with by the tolerance, is completely shut off.

CONSTITUTION: A braking device for a vehicle comprises an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(15) detecting absence or presence of a passenger and motion of a vehicle according to signals from a load sensor(11), a brake pedal sensor(12), a throttle position sensor(13) and a wheel speed sensor(14); a hydraulic pump(16) driven by the ECU; an accumulator(17) storing auxiliary hydraulic pressure to supply to a brake pipe(5) connected with a brake body(4) in driving the hydraulic pump; and a solenoid valve(19) installed in an auxiliary hydraulic pressure supply pipe(18) between the accumulator and the brake pipe and opened selectively according to the signal from the ECU. Accidents are prevented with restricting the vehicle from rolling back in parking on the inclined road.
