Abstract: PURPOSE: A valve depth measuring device is provided to obtain quantitative data regardless of the valve type which differs in accordance with engines. CONSTITUTION: A valve depth measuring device(10) comprises a surface plate bracket(11); a center shaft mounted at the center of the surface plate bracket, and which is height adjustable in a vertical direction; and a dial gauge(12) arranged to be movable in the lengthwise direction of the surface plate bracket, centering from the center shaft. The surface plate bracket has an adjustment hole(13) penetrating through the center of the top surface of the surface plate bracket, a transfer slot formed at the top surface of the surface plate bracket, and a guide hole(17) formed at the side surface of the surface plate bracket.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for testing a valve train is provided to obtain correct data and to reduce the time for testing by removing variable factors and applying a desired pressure. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder head assembly(CH) drives cam shafts(22,24) by a drive source and a power transmission tool. A testing unit(10) prepared in the lower portion of the cylinder head assembly is supported horizontally on a surface plate. The testing unit transmits a proper variable pressure to valves(26,28) of the cylinder head assembly. A temperature and hydraulic controller supplies the temperature and oil pressure generated from an engine to the cylinder head assembly.
