Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate spectrum curve by converting the output of a detector into a digital signal, imposing orthogonal modulation on it and finding the instantaneous phase of a local signal having a specific optical path difference, and rotating measurement data by the instantaneous phase. CONSTITUTION:The interference light of a Michelson interferometer 13 is supplied to a detector 18. The output signal of the detector 18 is converted by an AD converter 21 into the digital signal, which is supplied to digital frequency converters 23A and 23B for orthogonal conversion. The converted signals have their higher harmonic components cut by digital filters 24A and 24B and are stored in a complex memory 26 by specific optical path differences. Data obtained when there is no optical path difference are read out, an instantaneous phase detecting means finds the instantaneous phase, and a phase rotating means 33 rotates the phase of each data. An averaging means 34 averages the data and supplies the result to a Fourier transformer 27.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To display a spectrum with resolution at almost equal intervals over the entire wavelength range by making the power of power converting circuit different and displaying the spectrum of nearly equal wavelength resolution. CONSTITUTION:A desired measurement range is set with a lower-limit wavelength and an upper-limit wavelength within a wavelength range prescribed by a setting means 21. Those lower-limit and upper-limit wavelengths are converted by a wavelength-frequency converting means 17A to corresponding frequencies. Then, a deciding means 17B decides whether or not a prescribed switching frequency is present in the set range. When the frequency is present, a band calculating means 17C calculates the 1st band width between the frequency corresponding to the short-wavelength side lower-limit wavelength and the switching frequency and the 2nd band width between the switching frequency and the frequency corresponding to the longer-wavelength side upper-limit wavelength. A resolution correcting means 17D uses the 1st and the 2nd band widths to process respective thinning-out rates found on the short-wavelength and long-wavelength sides and data fetched at a center frequency by Fourier transform 18, and the data are displayed 9.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a resolution at the side of a longer wavelength from being lowered even when a display is made by areas of wavelengths, by providing a setting means for setting an area of a required measuring wavelength by a lower limit wavelength and an upper limit wavelength, etc. CONSTITUTION:A setting means 21 sets an area of a required measuring wavelength in a prescribed wavelength area by a lower limit wavelength and an upper limit wavelength. A wavelength/frequency converting means 17A converts the lower and upper limit wavelengths to corresponding frequencies. A deciding means 17B decides whether or not a prescribed switching frequency is present in the set wavelength area. A plurality of data are taken while a multiplication of a multiplication converter circuit 15 is changed, and synthesized to display a spectrum of an approximately equal wavelength resolution. In other words, a signal from the same to-be-measured object is measured for a plurality of the number of times while the multiplication is changed, and the data are taken into a buffer memory 16 at every measuring time. A fast Fourier transformation circuit 18 transforms the data taken in the memory 16 at high velocity. The data written in a main memory 19 and synthesized, so that one display data are obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve S/N at high speed with low cost by processing digitally a signal at all stages after an AD converter and applying mean (integration) processing to each frame for a time area. CONSTITUTION:The start of readout of a real memory 24 and the production of each local signal from a cosine wave generator 31 and a sinusoidal wave generator 32 are synchronized. That is, the real memory 24 is read by an address generated by the address generator 39 and the address production of the address generator 33 is reset at each start of readout and the address generators 33, 39 are synchronized. Thus, the momentary phase of a cosine local signal and a sine local signal in the trigger signal position of the waveform read from the real memory 24 is always made constant. Thus, the momentary phase of a complex waveform of each frame stored in each memory plane of the complex number memory is made constant and the complex number waveforms are in the coherent relation. The complex waveform of each frame stored in the corresponding address of the complex number memory 38 is averaged by an average means 41 to improve the S/N.
