    Abstract: A butene-1 polymer composition having MFR values of from 100 to 300 g/10 min., measured according to ISO 1133 at 190°C with a load of 2.16 kg, comprising: A) a butene-1 homopolymer or a copolymer of butene-1 with one or more comonomers selected from ethylene and higher alpha-olefins, having a copolymerized comonomer content of up to 5% by mole; B) a copolymer of butene-1 with one or more comonomers selected from ethylene and higher alpha-olefins, having a copolymerized comonomer content of from 6% to 20% by mole; said composition having a total copolymerized comonomer content from 4% to 15% by mole, referred to the sum of A) and B), and a content of fraction soluble in xylene at 0°C of 75% by weight or less, determined on the total weight of A) and B).

    Abstract: A polyolefin composition having a melting enthalpy ΔH fus , measured by DSC at the second heating scan, of from 7 to 30 J/g, comprising: A) from 63 to 78% by weight of a copolymer of butene-1 with ethylene having a copolymerized ethylene content of up to 18% by mole and no melting peak detectable at the DSC at the second heating scan; B) from 22 to 37% by weight of (i) a propylene homopolymer, or (ii) a propylene copolymer, or (iii) a mixture of two or more of (i) and (ii), having a melting temperature T m , measured by DSC at the second heating scan, of from 130°C to 165°C; wherein the amounts of A) and B) are referred to the total weight of A) + B).

    Abstract: Films especially suitable for the packaging of fresh foodstuff, like salad and vegetables, due to their high permeability to oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapour, are obtained from polyolefin composition comprising (percentage by weight): A) 5 % to 80 % of a butene-1 polymer or polymer composition containing from 0 % to 25 % of one or more comonomers selected from ethylene and alpha-olefÊns different from 1-butene, provided that, when ethylene only is present as comomomer, the amount of ethylene is higher than 4 % and a copolymer fraction (i) containing at least 6.2 % of ethylene is present, said polymer or polymer composition having a content of fraction soluble in xylene at 0°C of from 50 % to 100 % and a Flexural Modulus (measured according to ISO 178) from 15 to 300 MPa; B) 20 % to 95 % of a propylene homopolymer or copolymer having a content of fraction insoluble in xylene at room temperature of 93 % or more.
