    Abstract: A column separates a mixture of three or more substances. It has an outer case (1) with a cap (5) and an inner chamber with a number of longitudinal sub-chambers (3,4), each open on one side to the main chamber. One sub-chamber (3) operates as a mixture inlet chamber. Sub-chambers (3,4) feed a unification chamber (8). Especially the feed to the inlet chamber (3) is separated by gap from the chamber open end. and that the inlet zone is fabricated as a strengthened column and the other side is fabricated as column stripper (3b). The concentric sub-chambers (3,4) are separated by a segmented curved panel (2) and are joined on one side to the inner face of the case (1). The inlet chamber (3) and unification chamber (8) are linked by a pipe, throttle and gas passage for the exchange of gaseous and/or liquid phases. The column is suspended from the column cap (5). The chambers (3,4,8) are packed as appropriate with solid material and catalytic bulk grains.
