Abstract: La invencion se relaciona con un metodo para producir materiales a base de manera que comprenden cuando menos una capa de chapa de manera delgada plana encolada con un soporte u otras capas de chapa de madera que consiste i) en impregnar una chapa de madera con una composicion endurecible acuosa que a) comprende cuando menos un tipo de compuesto de urea reticulable seleccionado de compuestos H de urea que contienen cuando menos un grupo N-ligado de la formula CH2OR, en donde R es hidrogeno o alquilo de C1-C4, y/o un grupo 1,k2-bishidroxietano-1,2-diilo que contiene dos atomos de nitrogeno de urea, precondensados de compuesto H de urea y productos de reaccion o mezclas del compuesto H de urea con cuando menos un tipo de alcohol seleccionado de alcanoles de C1-C6, polioles de C2-C6 y oligo etilenglicoles y b) cuando menos un tipo de catalizador K que produce reticulacion de compuesto de urea, ii) en encolar la chapa de madera impregnada con una composicion adhesiva y iii) en transformar la chapa de madera pegada en un material a base de materia a una temperatura elevada, junto con endurecimiento de un compuesto de urea reticulable, en donde la chapa de madera impregnada antes del encolado en una etapa ii) comprende un compuesto de urea reticulable, substancialmente no reticulado.

Abstract: The invention relates to a lignocellulosic material which contains a cross- linkable nitrogen compound which is technically a formaldehyde condensate, i n cross-linked form in an amount (N) of at least 1 wt.- %, which is calculated as nitrogen and in relation to the total weight of the lignocellulosic material. The quotient (FA/N) of formaldehyde emissions (FA), determined by means of the bottle method according to EN 717 part 3, and the amount of the nitrogen compound (N) has a value of a maximum 5,0 x 10-3. The invention als o relates to a method for the production thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing modified lignocellulosic materials. Said method consists of the following steps a) the lignocellulosic material is impregnated with an aqueous composition which contains i) at least one cross-linkable nitrogen compound and ii) at least one substance which catalyses the cross-linking, b) the impregnated lignocellulosic materials are treated at higher temperatures in order to remove the water and to cross-link the cross-linkable nitrogen compound. In step b) the impregnated lignocellulosic material is treated with overheated steam. The invention also relates to lignocellulosic materials which are obtained according to said method.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of wood-base materials which have at least one thin veneer layer adhesively bonded over the surface to a substrate or to further veneer layers, which process comprises the following steps: i. impregnation of a veneer with an aqueous curable composition which comprises a) at least one curable urea compound selected from urea compounds H which have at least one N-bonded group of the formula CH2OR, where R is hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl, and/or a 1,2-bishydroxyethane-1,2-diyl group bridging the two nitrogen atoms of the urea, precondensates of the urea compound H, and reaction products or mixtures of the urea compound H with at least one alcohol which is selected from C1-C6-alkanols, C2-C6-polyols and oligoethylene glycols, and b) at least one catalyst K effecting crosslinking of the urea compound; ii) gluing of the impregnated veneer and/or the substrate with a glue composition and iii) processing of the glued veneer to give a wood-base material at elevated temperature with curing of the crosslinkable urea compound, the impregnated veneer comprising the crosslinkable urea compound in substantially uncrosslinked form before the gluing in step ii).
