Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing alkoxycarbonylamino triazines of formula (I) by reacting diaminotriazines or triaminotriazines with cyclic carbonic acid esters and optional subordinate quantities of acyclic carbonic acid esters in the presence of an alcohol and an alkaline alkanol or alkaline-earth alkanol as a base. In said formula, Y represents hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl, phenyl that is optionally substituted by C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, or halogen, or a radical of formula NR R while R , R , R , R , R , and R independently represent hydrogen or a radical of formula COOX or X, wherein X represents C1-C13 alkyl, the carbon skeleton of which can be interrupted by 1 or 2 oxygen atoms having the function of ether and/or substituted by hydroxy, or C3-C6 alkenyl provided that at least one of the radicals R to R in formula (I) represents COOX, or at least one of the radicals R to R in said formula represents COOX if Y represents NR R .
Abstract:
The invention relates to an aminoplast resin nonwoven film containing a nonwoven that is impregnated with a cross-linkable aminoplastic resin, the nonwoven containing 1 to 100 % by weight of melamine fibers with regard to the total fiber content. The invention also relates to the use of aminoplast resin nonwoven films for 3D coating substrates with a three-dimensionally structured surface. The invention further relates to laminates containing a substrate, optionally a woven or decorative paper and to the aminoplast resin nonwoven film according to the invention.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a spray condensation method for producing dried resins in the form of a powder. According to the inventive method, at least one crosslinkable initial material that is liquid or dissolved in a liquid phase is condensed with at least one aldehyde in a spray reactor.
Abstract:
A process for producing leather using one or more reaction products of (a) triamines or higher amines with (b) at least one compound of the general formula (I) where R 1 is selected from hydrocarbon radicals having up to 5000 carbon atoms, unbranched or branched, saturated or having from one up to three C-C double bonds, and A 1 from groups capable of reaction with amines.
Abstract:
The invention relates to aminoplastic resin films containing decorative paper impregnated with a homogeneous, single-phase aminoplastic resin mixture containing (A) between 50 and 99.9 wt. %, in relation to the aminoplastic resin mixture, of aqueous condensation products containing 1 mol melamine and between 1.3 and 2.5 mol formaldehyde, (B) between 0.1 and 30 wt. %, in relation to the aminoplastic resin mixture, of specific polyalkylene glycols and/or polyalkylene glycol derivatives, and (C) between 0 and 20 wt. %, in relation to the aminoplastic resin mixture, of additives, auxiliary agents and/or additives. The invention also relates to the use of said films for coating derived timber products or plastics, especially for coating three-dimensionally structured surfaces. The invention further relates to the use of specific polyalkylene glycols, polyalkylene glycol derivatives and/or alkoxylated polyamides as bonding agents for plastic surfaces in aminoplastic resins, and also to specific aminoplastic resin mixtures.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of fiberplates, whereby I. Cellulose-containing fibers are glued with an aqueous glue solution, whereby the aqueous glue solution contains the following: (a) an aliphatic polyamine (polyamine P); or (b) a mixture consisting of polyamine P and an aminoplast resin or (c) an aminoplast resin. The humidity of the cellulose-containing fibers or the water content of the glue is adjusted in such a way that the humidity of the glued cellulose-containing fibers does not exceed 150 %; and II. Compacting the glued cellulose-containing fibers produced according to step (I) at a high temperature to form the fiberplates.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for removing salts from an alkanolic reaction mixture which is obtained in the preparation of alkoxycarbonylaminotriazines and comprises at least one alkoxycarbonylaminotriazine, at least one cyclic and/or acyclic carbonic ester, at least one C 1 -C 13 -alkanol which optionally comprises one or two oxygen atoms as ether bonds and is optionally substituted by C 1 -C 4 -alkyl and/or hydroxyl, and also at least one alkali metal alkoxide or alkaline earth metal alkoxide, with or without melamine and with or without catalyst, in which salts are removed from the reaction mixture by ion exchange over a cation exchanger and/or anion exchanger.
