    Abstract: Poliisobutenaminas de la fórmula general IR1-CH2-NR2R3 (I)en la cualla variable R1 representa un residuo de poliisobutilo derivado de isobuteno y hasta 20 % en peso de n-buteno con unpeso molecular promedio en número Mn de 600 a 770 y las variables R2 y R3 representan independientemente entresí hidrógeno, un residuo de alquilo de C1-C18, alquenilo de C2-C18, cicloalquilo de C4-C18, alquilarilo de C1-C18,hidroxi-alquilo de C1-C18, poli(oxialquilo), polialquilenpoliamina o polialquilenimina, o junto con el átomo de nitrógenoal que están enlazados representan un anillo heterocíclicolas cuales se generaron mediante reacción de un poliisobuteno que tiene al menos una de las siguientespropiedades:[a] fracción de enlaces dobles de vinilideno de al menos 60 % molar, respecto del poliisobuteno;[b] contenido de unidades de isobuteno en la estructura polimérica de poliisobuteno de al menos 85 % en peso;[c] Polidispersidad de 1,05 a 7 con monóxido de carbono e hidrógeno en una reacción de hidroformilación enpresencia de un catalizador de hidroformilación y sometimiento del oxo-producto intermedio producido de estamanera a una aminación reductora en presencia de hidrógeno, de un compuesto de nitrógeno adecuado y de uncatalizador adecuado.
