    Abstract: La invención se refiere a un método para producir un polvo que contiene una o más sales de agente de complejación de la fórmula general (I), a partir de una solución acuosa, que contiene la una o más sales de agnete de complejación a una concentración de 10 a 80% en peso, en relación al peso total de la solución acuosa, en un proceso de secado por aspersión, que comprende un paso de atomización y un paso de secado, caracterizado además porque el paso de atomización se realiza agregando polvo cristalino fino de la misma sal o sales de agente de complejación que se encuentran en la solución acuosa, o una o más sales de agente de complejación que difieren de ahí, teniendo un límite superior para el diámetro de partícula promedio del polvo cristalino fino que es menos del límite menor del diámetro de partícula promedio del polvo obtenido de conformidad con el método por al menos un factor de 2, a una proporción de 0.1 a 20% en peso, en relación al peso del polvo obtenido de conformidad con el método.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a spray powder containing one or more glycine-N,N-diacetic acid derivatives of the general formula (I) MOOC-CHR-N(CH2COOM)2 (I), R standing for C1-12 alkyl and M standing for alkali metal, starting from an aqueous solution containing the one or more glycine-N,N-diacetic acid derivatives, which is spray-dried by adding air, characterized in that - the aqueous solution contains the one or more glycine-N,N-diacetic acid derivatives at a fraction of = 84 wt.% relative to the total weight of the dry mass, and that - the spray drying occurs in a drying apparatus, to which the aqueous solution and the air are fed in parallel flow, with a temperature gradient between the aqueous solution and the air in the range of 70 to 350 °C, and that - in the drying apparatus, the aqueous solution is atomized into fine liquid droplets by being guided onto one or more disks, which rotate at a circumferential speed of = 100 m/s, or by being compressed by means of a pump to a pressure of = 20 bar absolute and introduced into the drying apparatus at this pressure by means of one or more nozzles.
