PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conazole fungicide that can be dispersed in water without inducing undesirable separation or can be easily diluted with water, and in particular, to provide a preparation of epoxy conazole. SOLUTION: A new copolymer is provided, comprising at least three different monoethylenically unsaturated monomers that include: (α) at least one type of monoethylenically unsaturated monomer having at least one sulfonic acid group; (β1) at least one type of neutral monoethylenically unsaturated monomer having a water solubility at 20°C of less than 30 g/L; and (β2) at least one type of neutral monoethyleniccally unsaturated monomer having a water solubility at 20°C of 50 g/L or greater. The invention relates to a method for producing fine-particle dispersions of a chemical compound which is poorly soluble in a dispersant, by the turbulent intermixing of at least two liquid flows described as medium A and medium B, of which at least the liquid flow described as medium A contains the chemical compound to be dispersed or a precursor thereof, in a mixing device provided with at least two inlets and an outlet. The liquid flows are supplied in such a way that the angle between the longitudinal axes of a volume flow of medium A and a volume flow of medium B is between 10° and 170°, and the volume flows have different surface cross-sections.

The invention relates to an aqueous composition comprising a) a suspended pesticide that is soluble in water at 20°C at 10 g/l at maximum, b) a salt and c) a protective colloid that is a polysaccharide substituted with C3-C32-alkylcarbonyl and/or C3-C32-Alkylcarbamoyl groups. The invention further relates to a method for producing said composition in that a) the pesticide, b) a salt and c) the protective colloid are brought into contact with one another. The invention furthermore relates to a use of salt for slowing particle growth in an aqueous composition comprising said suspended pesticide, and the protective colloid.

The present invention encompasses aqueous dispersions comprising a nanoparticulate formulation of active crop protection ingredients, in which the nanoparticles have core-shell structures with a mean particle diameter of 0.05 to 2.0 µm and the active crop protection ingredient is present in the core in X-ray-amorphous form together with one or more polymers, and the shell consists of a stabilized envelope matrix preparable by a process which is characterized in that (a) a solution of the active crop protection ingredient in a water-miscible organic solvent is prepared, (b) the solution obtained in step (a) is mixed with the core polymer or a solution of the core polymer in a water-miscible organic solvent, the polymer being insoluble or only partly soluble in water or aqueous solutions or water-solvent mixtures; and (c) the mixture resulting from (b) is contacted with an aqueous solution comprising components of the envelope matrix.

The invention further relates to a method for producing said dispersion by contacting an active substance and an amphiphile. The invention also relates to a solid composition containing active substance particles having a particle size of up to 10 µm and an amphiphile, obtained by drying the aqueous dispersion. The invention further relates to the use of the dispersion or the solid composition for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or unwanted plant growth and/or unwanted infestation with insects and/or acarides and/or for controlling the growth of plants.
