    Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase the oxygen production rate in a pressure fluctuation adsorption method by incorporating calcium ions of 0.4 to 1.0 mol per mol of Al2 O3 into a zeolite component, thereby preparing an SiO2 bonded zeolite X granular material. CONSTITUTION: The SiO2 bonded zeolite X granular material is prepd. by incorporating the calcium ions of the amt. corresponding to a ratio of 0.4 to 1.0 mol per mol of Al2 O3 which is a zeolite component into the zeolite component. More specifically, the ratio of Al2 O3 to CaO is adequately 0.6 to 0.9 per mol of Al2 O3 . At the time of producing an oxygen concd. gas by the pressure fluctuation adsorption method, air is brought into contact with the SiO2 bonded zeolite X granular material contg. the calcium ions of 0.4 to 1.0 mol per mol of Al2 O3 obtd. by the prescribed above to adsorb its nitrogen, by which the oxygen concd. gas is obtd.
