    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve drastically durability, by a method wherein a cord of a polyester fiber obtained by performing high-stress spinning is high-tensile-heat- treated and a post-cure inflation condition to be applied to a tire made by making use of the high-tensile-heat-treated cord for a carcass ply is specified. CONSTITUTION:A polyester fiber cord is made so that the same possesses microscopic properties where intrinsic viscosity viscosity is 0.75-0.97, specific gravity is 1.365-1.398, a double refractive index DELTAn is 165X10 -195X10 and a number of terminal carboxyl groups are 20 or less and a twisting index NT is within 0.4-0.6 as a fiber, in a radial tire provided with a carcass ply into rubber of which a polyester cord is laid. Postcure inflation holding an inner temperature of a tire shoulder part is performed at 95 deg.C at the lowest under filling state of inner pressure P corresponding to a coefficient alpha of carcass tension. It is made that elongation DELTA En at the tension of the cord of 2g/denier is 4.5% or less and the total of the elongation DELTA En and a heat shrinkage factor DELTA S is 8.0% or less.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent ply separation by constituting a tyre for airplane, etc. in the caption of an up/down type toroid shaped radial construction carcass made of organic fiber cord having a specific thermal contraction coefficient, a belt layer and a cable bead core. CONSTITUTION:Plies consisting of organic fiber whose thermal contraction coefficient is above 1.0% and below 10.0 at 177 deg.C, e.g., nylon, etc. are laminated and a carcass having up/down type toroid shaped radial construction is formed. And a belt 5, which is formed by arranging, at a cord angle close to 0 deg. to the circumference of a carcass crown, and laminating plural layers arranged, in parallel, with organic fiber cord whose initial elastic modulus is 150g/d at minimum, is so provided as to surround the crown area of the carcass. Besides a bead core 1 is formed info a cable bead core having a round section by winding steel wire spirally round a core wire. By this constitution, ply separation can be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To promote the lightness of weight and the holding of high internal pressure further the improvement of running durability, by filling a filament group clearance of a cord, consisting of fiber of large strength and high elastic modulus, with a rubber-stage material so that the fiber of large strength and high elastic modulus improves its bending and fatigue characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire has one ore more pairs of bead wires, and the tire provides carcass ply cord layers 2, 3, which are fixed turning back around the periphery of each bead wire and having an angle of 0-15 deg. with respect to a radial direction, while belt ply cord layers 4-8 having an angle of 0-30 deg. with respect to the peripheral direction. In the above construction, at least one of the cords 9, 10 of each cord layers is formed from at least one kind of the aromatic polyamide fiber, total aromatic polyester fiber and the polyvinyl alcohol fiber of strength 15g/d or more. And the cord forms in its section matrix construction of seaisles pattern by filling a clearance of a group of filaments 11, forming said cord, with a rubber-state material 12.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain shimmy (vibration around a steering wheel) and chattering (vertical oscillation of wheels) from taking place by forming a cord of a carcass ply of a pneumatic tire by intertwining at least several bandles of organic fiber filaments. CONSTITUTION:A tire 1 for a motorcycle includes a pair of left and right sides walls 2, and a tread 3 in a convex form which is located between the both side walls 2 and 2 and can be elongated to the maximum width of WT. And both the side walls 2 and the tread 3 are reinforced by a carcass 4 where numbers of organic fiber plies are plied so as to allow their cords to intersect each other. In addition, a layer of a breaker is arranged in a crown section which is outside of the carcass 4 to reinforce the crown section. In this case, the cord 8 of the carcass ply is formed by intertwining at least 3 bandles of a number of organic fiber filaments.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the subject tire having improved decomposition resistance by amine, good high speed durability and good reclamation durability by reinforcing with organic fiber cords having a specific polyester/polyamide core-sheath structure. CONSTITUTION:Organic fiber cords constituting a carcass supply layer 4 are composed of cords produced by twisting organic fibers having a polyester/ polyamide core-sheath structure. The intrinsic viscosity of the polyester forming the core portion is >=0.8 and the ratio of the weight of the core portion to that of (the core portion + the sheath portion) is 0.3-0.9. The cords are embedded in an embedding rubber containing >=50% of polyisoprene to form a carcass supply layer, thereby remarkably improving the amine decomposition resistance of the organic fiber cords.
