    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which has excellent stability against scorching and resistance to reversion during processing and vulcanization and exhibits excellent thermal aging resistance, high-temperature physical properties and high-speed durability after vulcanization, by blending a rubbery polymer with a specified bismaleimide compd., a triazine compd. and sulfure. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. rubbery polymer (A) composed of natural and/or synthetic diene rubber is blended with 0.2-5pts.wt. bismaleimide compd. (B) of formula I [wherein R is phenylene or a group of formula II (wherein n is 2-8)], 0.1-3.0pts.wt. triazine compd. (C) of formula III [wherein R1 is NR'2 (wherein R' is a 2-4C alkyl) or NHR''2 (wherein R'' is R' or phenyl): R2 is SH or a group of formula IV or V; R3 is H or a group of formula VI or VII] and 0.5-5.0pts.wt. sulfur (D).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber composition for bonding steel cord excellent in capability of bonding and age resistance, by mixing natural rubber or synthetic polyisoprene rubber with cobalt resinate and a specified cobalt compound. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition formed by mixing 100pts.wt. rubber containing at least 70pts.wt. at least either natural rubber or synthetic polyisoprene rubber with cobalt resinate and at least one cobalt compound selected from cobalt acetylacetonate and a boron-cobalt compound of the formula in an amount of 0.05-0.7pt.wt. in terms of cobalt. In the formula, R1, R2 and R3 are each a resin acid residue, a naphthenic acid group or a 3-24C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid group. The ratio of the amount of the cobalt resinate used to that of the cobalt compound used is preferably 9/1-1/9 in terms of a cobalt content.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composite of firm bonding between rubber and steel wire, with outstanding creep characteristics, by covering steel cord with a rubber composition prepared by incorporating a feedstock rubber with both straight chain alkylene maleimide and abietic acid metal salt. CONSTITUTION:The objective composite can be obtained by covering steel cord with a rubber composition prepared by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. at least one kind of feedstock rubber selected from natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and polybutadiene rubber with (B) 0.1-10 (pref. 0.3-3) pts.wt. of a straight chain alkylene maleimide of formula (n is pref. 1-6), (C) 0.5-10 (pref. 2-4) pts.wt. of an abietic acid metal salt (pref. cobalt abietate) and (D) other ingredients such as sulfur (as curing agent), zinc oxide and curing accelerator.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To set at least either one vulcanization degree of a fastest part and a slowest part of a material to be vulcanized to a vulcanization degree of a predetermined range by controlling a post-vulcanization degree of the material to be vulcanized such as a tire to a predetermined vulcanization degree. CONSTITUTION:Vulcanizing conditions of a post-vulcanization are decided in response to those of vulcanization until post-vulcanization is conducted. A vulcanization controller controls a vulcanizing machine based on the vulcanizing conditions of the vulcanization to conduct the vulcanization. A tire 50 vulcanized to a predetermined vulcanization degree by the vulcanization is contained in a box 40 of a vulcanization controller 10b. A temperature controller 64 calculates the post-vulcanization based on the vulcanization degree input from the controller at the time of finishing the vulcanization and a target vulcanization degree, and estimates a temperature of a fastest part. The controller 64 so control a cooler/heater 56 that the vulcanization degree from start to end of the vulcanization of the fastest part becomes the target degree based on the post-vulcanization degree and the estimated temperature of the fastest part.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve water resistance, prevention against drop in adhesive property and improve the anticorrosion fatigue property of a steel cord by constituting an inner liner with an inner layer containing a specified amount of a water absorptive polymer and an outer layer consisting of halogenated butyl rubber. CONSTITUTION:An inner liner 5 is formed into a two-layer structure consisting of an inner layer 5B stuck close to a carcass layer 3 and an outer layer 5A contacting with air in a tire at the outside of this inner layer 5B. This outer layer 5A is formed with halogenated butyl rubber, and the inner layer 5B is formed with rubber containing a water absorptive polymer, for example, an acrylic acid-vinyl alcohol copolymer as much as 2 - 30 weight parts to rubber 100 weight parts. With this constitution, water resistance is improved, and the anticorrosion fatigue property of a steel cord and anticorrosion destructivity are also improved and drop in adhesive property can be prevented.
