Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the cracking of the groove bottom by a method in which the maximum groove half-width portion of the main groove of a tire with zig- zagged main groove for underway, etc., is made up of given inside and outside portions, and the depth of the inside groove is set up to more than a given % of the depth of the main groove. CONSTITUTION:Main groove 1 is made up of a zigzagged outside groove 1' along the circumferential direction of tire and an inside groove 1'' in parallel with the circumferential direction of tire. The maximum groove half-width W0 of the step face of the outside groove portion 1' is set to 1-7.5% range of the tread width W, and the maximum groove half-width W1 of the step face of the inside groove portion 1'' is set to 27-67% of the width W. The depth of the inside groove portion 1'' is set to 5% or more of that of the main groove. The swing width S of the zigzagged edge R and pitch P are each set to 10-80% and 20-180% in relation to the half-width W0 of the outside groove. The cracking of the groove bottom can thus be effectively prevented without damaging the railway abrasion prevention effect.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire suppressing generation of a ply steer, and also generation of crack from the bottom of a sipe.
SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 comprises a carcass 14 laid in a toroidal shape over a pair of bead cores 12, a plurality of waved belt layers 15 arranged outside in a tire diameter direction of the carcass 14, and a tread portion 16 arranged outside in the tire diameter direction of the waved belt layer 15, and equipped with a land part 17 divided by at least two main grooves 13 extending in a tire circumferential direction. The waved belt layer 15 is a belt layer made from a plurality of cords 20 extending while meandering in the tire circumferential direction. A plurality of sipes 18 is formed on the land part 17 of the tread portion 16. The sipes 18 extend at an angle θ in a range of 0°±5° in regard to a tire width direction. Therefore, the whole of the sipes almost simultaneously steps into a ground surface.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently eliminate the generation of crack in a groove bottom of a narrow groove by providing a narrow groove in a shoulder rib, and interrupting this narrow groove at a part corresponding to a position of sector type laminated surface in the tread circumferential direction over a specified length in the tread circumferential direction. SOLUTION: A shoulder rib 3 is partitioned in a tread side end part by a circumferential main groove 2 continuously extended straight in the tread circumferential direction, and the shoulder rib 3 is provided with a narrow groove 4 extended straight in the tread circumferential direction. This narrow groove 4 is interrupted at plural parts in the tread circumferential direction corresponding to the position of sector type laminated surfaces over the length of 2-15 mm in the tread circumferential direction. Consequently, the narrow groove 4 is formed of plural narrow groove parts 4a aligned in the tread circumferential direction with plural interruption positions 5 as a whole. Generation of crack causing the generation of crack of the groove bottom of the narrow groove 4 is prevented.

In the steel cord 24 of the third belt layer 22, the slanting angle against the tire equatorial plane CL are larger at both end parts in the tire width direction than that on the tire equatorial plane CL side, and the cord intervals are widened on both end parts in the tire width direction. Rubber between belt layers of 50% extension modulus 15-25kg/cm is arranged between the second belt layer 20 and the third belt layer 22 at between both end parts in the tire width direction. Hereby, strain generated in the vicinity of the end part of the third belt layer is lightened so as to prevent a crack from generating, and the tire can deal with large input over customary input.

Generation of the irregular wear (river wear) can be favorably reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a rubber tire from catching fire or burning without losing abrasion resistance, partial abrasion resistance and crack resistance by forming an outer surface part of a circumferential main groove by flame resistance rubber composition with a specific value of oxygen index and not by providing a see-through part which continues in the straight line state in the tire circumferential direction in a groove space of the circumferential main groove CONSTITUTION:This flame resistant rubber tire is provided with a tread rubber layer 12 in which a plurality of circumferential grooves 20 extending in the zigzag state in the tire circumferential direction are formed, an outer surface rubber part 11 formed by a side rubber layer 13 continuing to both ends in the tire width direction of the tread rubber layer 12 and extending close to a bead part 18 toward the tire radial direction, and a reinforced part inside the outer surface rubber part 11. The outer surface part of the circumferential main groove 20 is formed by a flame-resistant rubber composition whose oxygen index is within the range from 19.8 to 27.5, and a groove space of the circumferential main groove 20 does not have a see-through part continuing in the straight line state in the tire circumferential direction. Also, a wall angle part on the groove side of a bent part 20A of the circumferential main grooves 20 are connected smoothly by a curve with the radius of curvature of 5mm or more.
