Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a spindle motor which has excellent durability, cleanliness, etc., and which is improved in performance of high speed rotation and reduced in vibration during rotation by using hydrodynamic bearings. CONSTITUTION:When current flows in stator-coils 5, a rotor 6 to which a rotor magnet 8 is secured, the motor starts rotation, and a hydrodynamic pressure is generated between the upper surface of a fixing member 3b of a thrust bearing 3 and the lower surface of a moving member 3a facing to the fixing member 3b, and a hydrodynamic bearing is formed. A hydrodynamic pressure is also generated between the outer surface of a fixing member 4b of a radial bearing 4 and the inner surface of a moving member 4a facing to the fixing member 4b and a hydrodynamic bearing is formed. For this reason, bearings are constituted without direct contact between the lower surface of the moving member 3a of the thrust bearing 3 and the upper surface of the fixing member 3b and between the inner surface of the moving member 4a of the radial bearing 4 and the outer surface of the fixing member 4b, and this can cope with smooth and high speed rotation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent excessive pressure rising at the time of the occurrence of water hammer by branching a water feed pipe connected to a pump delivery pipe through a check valve, and connecting the above water feed pipe to the water side of a pressure tank through a check valve. CONSTITUTION:One side of a branched delivery pipe 3 is connected to an air supplementary reservior 4, and its other side is done to a water feed pipe through a check valve 5. Water flows from the water feed pipe 6 on the downstream of the check valve 5 into a pressure tank 9 through a branched pipe 20, check valve 21 and piping 22. When water feeding is stopped at the end of the water feed pipe 6, water hammer action causes excessive pressure rising in the water feed pipe 6, but it can be reduced by water flowing into the pressure tank 6 through the branched pipe 20, check valve 21 and piping 22.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure smooth rotation by using magnetic bearings consisting of fixing side magnets with a radial bearing fixed on a fixing section, and rotating side magnets confronted with the fixing side magnets and fixed on a rotating section, and by using a spiral group bearing having a dynamic pressure generating spiral channel, for a thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:A motor fixing section 1 is formed to fix the thrust bearing pat 4-1 of a thrust bearing 4 on a fitting base provided with a bearing shaft 3, and to fix the stator 5-1 of a driving motor 5 on the bearing shaft 3, and to fix the static side magnets 20-1, 21-1 of magnetic bearings 20, 21 on the upper and lower sections of the stator. On the inner peripheral surface of the rotating section 2 of the motor, a rotor 5-2 confronted with the stator 5-1 is fixed, and on the upper and lower sections of the rotor, rotating side magnets 20-2, 21-2 confronted with the static side magnets are fixed, and on the lower end surface, a thrust bearing collar 4-2 for composing the thrust bearing 4 is fixed to be confronted with the thrust bearing pat 4-1. As a result, a load and a position in the radial direction are retained dy the magnetic bearings, and smooth rotation is secured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive improvement of rotary performance and reduction of vibration in a bearing by constituting a radial dynamic pressure bearing of a radial cylindrical part and a radial sleeve and a thrust dynamic pressure bearing of an end part of the radial cylindrical part and a thrust plate. CONSTITUTION:A main shaft 2 is vertically provided in a mounting bed 1, and a radial cylindrical part 4 is fixed to the periphery of the main shaft 2 with upper and lower thrust plates 3 fixed to an end face of the radial cylindrical part 4. A radial sleeve 6 is rotatably mounted with a space from the radial cylindrical part 4 and the thrust plates 3. A dynamic pressure generating groove C1 is formed in the radial cylindrical part 4, while a dynamic pressure generating groove C2 is formed in the thrust plate 3. Consequently, when the radial sleeve 6 is rotated, dynamic air pressure is generated between the internal surface 3A of the thrust plate 3 and the end face 6B of the radial sleeve 6 and between the periphery 4A of the radial cylindrical part 4 and the internal periphery 6A of the radial sleeve 6. Then by forming respectively an air dynamic pressure thrust bearing and an air dynamic pressure radial bearing, friction and vibration are eliminated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce vibration at the time of rotation regardless of the position of use of a motor by bearing a motor rotator on a supporting shaft via dynamic pressure radial bearing and also by bearing the collar part of the rotator on a mounting base via thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rotor magnet group 8 or rotor magnetic material is provided on the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical member 6b of a motor rotator 6 and further a stator coil group 5 is pro-. vided on the inner peripheral face of the central hole of a cylindrical supporting shaft 2 in the manner of corresponding to the rotor magnet group 8 or rotor magnetic material. Also, the inner peripheral face of the motor rotator 6 and the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical supporting shift 2 are borne via radial bearing 4 and the collar part 6a of the motor rotator 6 is borne on the mounting base 1 via thrust bearing 3. Further, the radial bearing 4 and thrust bearing 3 are formed as dynamic pressure bearings, respectively. Because the radial bearing supports a part over the range including the center of gravity of the motor rotator in this manner, an apparatus can operate in a range, where it has a load-carrying capacity enough, so that a dynamic pressure can increase to reduce vibration in the radial direction.

On the internal surface of this dynamic pressure generating groove 2, a refined layer 2a comprising ceramics, which is the base metal of the ceramic bearing base substrate 1, melted and solidified is formed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve rotary performance of a motor by supporting a rotary shaft on a supporting shaft and a fixing base through two dynamic pressure bearings and further supporting the rotary shaft through a rolling bearing. CONSTITUTION:A fixed side member 3a constituting a thrust bearing 3 is arranged on a fixing base 1 separated from the outer circumference of a supporting shaft a. A fixed side member 4a constituting a radial bearing 4 is fixed to the outer circumferential section of the supporting shaft 2. A supporting member 6 is supported by a ball bearing 9, one type of rolling bearing; fixed to the supporting shaft 2 at the canopy part, and a circular shaft member 7 is secured to the lower end part. The lower end part of the shaft member 7 provides the movable side member 3b of the thrust bearing 3 and the inner circumferential face thereof provides the movable side member 4b of the radial bearing 4. The radial bearing 4 and the thrust bearing 3 constitute dynamic pressure bearings respectively. When the dynamic pressure rolling bearing is additionally employed, rotary performance is improved and starting torque can be reduced regardless of the attitude.

And a reversible motor 21 which rotates normally and reversibly in relation to the rotary shaft of a pump is provided, and it is controlled so as to reiterate normal rotation and reverse rotation every scheduled time by the aid of a timer T. Accordingly, load the inner ring of a pump is equalized on the whole circumference of the inner ring, and the life of the inner ring can be lengthened.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance machining accuracy by applying surface finish to a portion forming a slide surface of a bearing base body made of ceramics after being sintered, bonding an organic material for absorbing a YAG laser beam according to a predetermined pattern of a machining groove so as to radiate the laser beam along the bonded pattern. CONSTITUTION:A portion of a slide surface of a bearing base body 1 made of ceramics after being sintered is applied to surface finish. A black organic material capable of efficiently absorbing a YAG laser beam is bonded onto the slide surface according to a pattern of a predetermined machining groove, thus obtaining portions 2a as shown by slash marks. A YQG laser processor radiates a YAGQ switch pulse laser beam onto the portions 2a with the organic material bonded thereto, to machine the groove 2. The bearing base body 1 is immersed into 1-trichloroethane, followed by ultrasonic cleaning, and then, the residual organic material is removed.
