Abstract: Procédé de transformation d'une surface progressive initiale devant être fabriquée par un procédé de fabrication, le procédé de transformation comprenant : - une étape de détermination d'un défaut surfacique au cours de laquelle la valeur D d'un défaut surfacique introduit de manière reproductible par le procédé de fabrication est déterminée au moyen d'un modèle de défaut préalablement établi pour ledit procédé de fabrication, - une étape de transformation, au cours de laquelle la surface progressive initiale est transformée en compensant la valeur D du défaut surfacique déterminée au moyen du modèle de défaut de sorte que, lors de la fabrication de la surface progressive au moyen dudit procédé de fabrication, la surface progressive fabriquée soit sensiblement conforme à la surface progressive initiale.
