Abstract: For the adjustable fastening of a glass sheet in a receiving groove in a top frame bar, the said glass sheet is provided near the two ends of the top edge region with circular holes through which fastening elements are pushed. Each fastening element consists of an anchor part (5) having a peripheral surface (13) which is approximately cylindrically symmetrical about an adjustment axis (12) and which is connected by tooth engagement to an inner surface (14) of a holding part (6) mounted on the anchor part (5). The anchor part (5) engages by means of axially projecting anchor studs (8) in through anchor grooves formed in the sides of the receiving groove. The edge of the hole in the glass sheet is in contact with the holding part (6) on an outer contact surface (7) rotatationally symmetrical about an eccentric axis (15) which is parallel to the adjustment axis (12) and distant therefrom by an eccentricity (.DELTA.). The holding part (6) can be pulled off the anchor part (5) and be replaced thereon after being turned a multiple of an increment (a) about the adjustment axis (12), whereby the vertical position of the contact surface (7) relative to the anchor part (5) and thus the position of the glass sheet relative to the frame bar are altered.

Abstract: A door (1), which can be recessed into a door compartment (2), is fixed on a stop strip (4) which is guided on an upper rail (7a), fastened on a first side wall (6) of the door compartment (2), and on a lower rail (7b), and is fastened on a scissors cross anchored on the said first side wall (6) of the door compartment (2). To make possible a precise mounting of the door hanging before installation and to facilitate an adjustable design, the lower rail (7b) is also fastened on the first side wall (6). The two rails (7a,b) are screwed together with the sleeves, which are screwed in said wall and permit an adjustment of the rail spacing therefrom. The upper anchoring of the scissors cross lies on a fastening part (8), which is connected through the first side wall (6) to an adjustment part in such a way that when the latter is swivelled about a screw connection (9), common to both parts, said fastening part is also taken along. The stop strip (4) bears a roller (16) which, when the door (1) is not in a recessed position, presses against a plastic panel in the region of the front edge of said side wall. A setscrew (24) permits vertical displacement of the stop strip (4) relative to the scissors cross.

Abstract: A door for a furniture article which is lowerable into a door compartment is fastened to a door-carrying bar which is fixed to a scissors-assembly having two beams anchored on one side wall of the door compartment. To facilitate the adjustment of the scissors-assembly, an upper anchor assembly of one of the beams of the scissors-assembly is located on a fixing member, which is connected via the one side wall to an adjusting member so that, on pivoting the adjusting member about a screw, the fixing member is also moved. The door-carrying bar is guided on two opposite rails, which are screwed to bushes which are in turn screwed into the one side wall for adjusting the spacing between the wall and a respective rail. For maintaining the spacing between the door and a second side wall, facing the first side wall, the door-carrying bar carries a roller which presses against a plastic plate provided in the vicinity of the leading edge of the first side wall when the door is not lowered. A setscrew is provided in the door to permit a vertical displacement of the door-carrying bar with respect to the scissors-assembly.
